Vacation Leave Credit Sample Clauses

Vacation Leave CreditSupport staff personal who are transferred from school year positions to full calendar year positions shall receive one year’s credit for each full school year of service to the District provided that the service was for thirty hours or more per week. Service between twenty and thirty hours per week shall be credited at 5/12ths of a year for each full school year of service.
Vacation Leave Credit. Vacation leave credit shall be based on length of continuous service. No vacation leave shall be earned by any employee during a leave of absence without pay, with the exception of any employee who is temporarily off the payroll by reason of his/her position as a Union official and while on Union business, providing he/she is off the payroll less than one-half (1/2) of his/her otherwise scheduled hours for the month.
Vacation Leave Credit. Vacation leave credit shall accrue on the first day of the month following the month when vacation leave credit is earned.
Vacation Leave Credit for a full month shall be granted only after completion of fifteen (15) calendar days on full pay status in a calendar month, and no accruals or partial accruals shall be granted for service of less than fifteen (15) calendar d ays in full pay status in a calendar month.
Vacation Leave Credit. (i) for employees with eight (8) or less consecutive years of employment shall be one and one- quarter (1 1/4) days per calendar month. (ii) for employees with more than eight (8) years consecutive service shall be one and two thirds (1 2/3) days per calendar month. (iii) for employees with more than twenty (20) years consecutive service shall be two and one twelfth (2 1/12) days per calendar month.

  • Vacation Leave Credits ‌ Full-time and part-time employees will be credited with vacation leave accrued monthly, according to the rate schedule and vacation leave accrual below.

  • Sick Leave Credit All employees shall be able to draw on a block of nine (9) days sick leave when they commence employment. If all or part of this block of sick leave is used it will be paid back as sick leave is accumulated. If an employee ceases employment and has a negative balance in sick leave credit, this amount will be deducted from his/her final paycheque.

  • Sick Leave Credits (a) Prior to the commencement of maternity leave, illness arising due to pregnancy may be covered by normal sick leave. (b) Sick leave may be used by any pregnant employee, authorized by the receipt of a qualified medical practitioner's statement to the Employer, where there is a confirmed case of German measles or any other disease or condition in the place of employment which could be harmful to pregnancy as determined by the qualified medical practitioner's statement or report. They may use this leave until all danger from such disease or condition no longer exists.

  • Vacation Leave 11.1 Employees will retain and carry forward any eligible and unused vacation leave that was accrued prior to the effective date of this Agreement.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits An employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each calendar month during which the employee receives pay for at least ten (10) days at the following rate:

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum: A. If an employee’s request for vacation leave is denied by the Employer, and the employee is close to the vacation leave maximum, the Employer will grant an extension for each month that the Employer must defer the employee’s request for vacation leave. B. An employee may also accumulate vacation leave days in excess of two hundred and forty (240) hours as long as the employee uses the excess balance prior to his or her anniversary date. Any leave in excess of the maximum that is not deferred in advance of its accrual as described above, will be lost on the employee’s anniversary date.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Vacation Leave on Retirement ‌ An employee scheduled to retire and to receive pension benefits under the Public Service Pension Plan Rules or who has reached the mandatory retiring age, shall be granted full vacation entitlement for the final calendar year of service.

  • Recall from Vacation Leave When during any period of vacation leave an employee is recalled to duty, he shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he incurs:

  • Vacation Credit Any outstanding vacation entitlement for a person going on LTD will be paid in cash upon expiry of sick leave. The cash payment will be calculated on the base earnings at the expiration of sick leave for the prorated days of vacation entitlement, any outstanding lieu days, any outstanding floating statutory holidays, and banked time for 40-hour per week employees. No vacation entitlement, floating holidays, or banked time for 40-hour per week employees accrues while a member is in receipt of LTD benefits.
