Vacation Splits. Notwithstanding the express language of Article 14.04.02, the parties have agreed, for the life of the current Collective Agreement, to give the option to the employees working a 6/3 schedule to split their vacation in multiples of five (5) working days in accordance with the following:

Vacation Splits. An employee shall be allowed, with approval, to split their annual vacation or take it in a continuous block.
Vacation Splits. Vacation and statutory holiday periods must be taken as follows: 8.05.01 Where the total entitlement is thirteen (13) calendar days or less, they must be taken in one unbroken period.

Vacation Splits a. Pilots eligible for eight (8) or more days of vacation may split their vacations a maximum of five times, provided that no split can result in more than one vacation of less than seven days. Any vacation period that is less than seven days will not be available for bidding purposes, but will be converted to hours and placed in the pilot’s vacation bank. b. Primary vacations are awarded based on seniority. Additional vacations will be selected from the remaining vacation periods available after all pilots have been awarded/assigned their primary vacation period in accordance with D.1., 2., and 3. of this Section. Awarding/assigning of the additional splits of a pilot's vacation period will be in order of seniority within the bid status among those pilots desiring to split their vacation.
