Vacation While on Leave. A Flight Attendant whose vacation occurs during a leave of absence will have the following options: 1) have the days of vacation paid in accordance with paragraph D. or 2) rebid the vacation to an available week(s) in accordance with F.2., or 3) trade it with the vacation of another Flight Attendant in accordance with F.1.

Vacation While on Leave. An employee shall not earn any vacation credits for any absence in excess of thirty (30) calendar days, except for an absence due to WSIB, Union leave, pregnancy and/or parental leave, in which case the employee shall be entitled to accumulate vacation time but shall not accumulate any vacation pay.

Vacation While on Leave. Employees on leave of absence, other than a military leave or pregnancy disability leave of absence, are required to use all accrued paid vacation time as part of the leave. In addition, employees on an unpaid leave of absence will not accrue vacation time during the leave.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:

  • Rights While on Leave A bargaining unit member approved for a professional conference shall receive full salary while in attendance at said conference. In addition, an estimate of cost of reimbursement will be submitted with the request.

  • Recall from Vacation Leave Where, during any period of vacation leave, an employee is recalled to duty, such employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that such employee incurs:
