Vacations Schedule. Employees accumulate vacation time on a payroll period basis and are credited for that time on their anniversary. For employees with four (4) or more years of service at the facility as of February 1, 2018, vacation time is accrued as follows:

Vacations Schedule. All requests for vacations must be submitted no later than April 30. After April 30, those employees who have not recorded their choice of vacation time will not be able to exercise seniority rights for vacation purposes over those who scheduled their vacation in a timely fashion. Employees who fail to designate their preference by April 30 shall receive vacations only during those periods not already allotted. Only one employee from each store and from each department will be allowed to take vacation at a time. An employee's scheduled vacation period shall not be changed by the Company within the one (1) month period immediately preceding the start of the vacation period without the consent of the employee concerned. For holidays which are scheduled prior to April 30, the Company will give approval or denial within two (2) weeks of receiving the request. The approved and assigned vacation schedule will be posted no later than May 15th.

  • Vacation Schedule 1. Vacation periods shall be fixed by the Employer to suit the requirements of his business, but as far as possible and practicable, vacations will be given during the summer months, and for employees with school-age children, during the school vacations. Vacation periods shall be unbroken unless by mutual consent between Employer and employee, or where it is impractical. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.
