Visits to Site and Observation of ConstructionIn connection with observations of Contractor’s Work while it is in progress: a. Make visits to the Site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction, as Engineer deems necessary, to observe as an experienced and qualified design professional the progress and quality of Contractor’s executed Work. Such visits and observations by Engineer, and the Resident Project Representative, if any, are not intended to be exhaustive or to extend to every aspect of Contractor’s Work in progress or to involve detailed inspections of Contractor’s Work in progress beyond the responsibilities specifically assigned to Engineer in this Agreement and the Contract Documents, but rather are to be limited to spot checking, selective sampling, and similar methods of general observation of the Work based on Engineer’s exercise of professional judgment as assisted by the Resident Project Representative, if any. Based on information obtained during such visits and observations, Engineer will determine in general if the Work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents, and Engineer shall keep Owner informed of the progress of the Work. b. The purpose of Engineer’s visits to, and representation by the Resident Project Representative, if any, at the Site, will be to enable Engineer to better carry out the duties and responsibilities assigned to and undertaken by Engineer during the Construction Phase, and, in addition, by the exercise of Engineer’s efforts as an experienced and qualified design professional, to provide for Owner a greater degree of confidence that the completed Work will conform in general to the Contract Documents and that Contractor has implemented and maintained the integrity of the design concept of the completed Project as a functioning whole as indicated in the Contract Documents. Engineer shall not, during such visits or as a result of such observations of Contractor’s Work in progress, supervise, direct, or have control over Contractor’s Work, nor shall Engineer have authority over or responsibility for the means, methods, techniques, sequences, or procedures of construction selected or used by Contractor, for security or safety on the Site, for safety precautions and programs incident to Contractor’s Work, nor for any failure of Contractor to comply with Laws and Regulations applicable to Contractor’s furnishing and performing the Work. Visits to Site and Observation of ConstructionResident Project Representative (RPR) Services. In connection with observations of the Work while it is in progress: Yes a. Periodic Site Visits by J-U-B. Make visits to the Site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction, as J-U-B deems necessary, to observe as an experienced and qualified design professional the No progress and quality of the Work. Such visits and observations, if any, are not intended to be exhaustive or to extend to every aspect of the Work or to involve detailed inspections of the Work beyond the responsibilities specifically assigned to J-U-B in this Agreement, but rather are to be limited to spot checking, selective sampling, and similar methods of general observation of the Work based on J-U-B’s exercise of professional judgment as assisted by the RPR, if any. Based on information obtained during such visits and observations, J-U-B will determine in general, for the benefit of CLIENT, if the Work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents, and J-U-B shall keep CLIENT informed of the progress of the Work.

Architect shall make visits to the Site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction as Architect deems necessary in order to observe, as an experienced and qualified design professional, and sufficient to prepare the Verified Reports and any other reports or certifications required by the California Education Code and Code of Regulations, or by any other authority, on the progress and quality of the various aspects of Contractor’s work. Architect shall provide District with copies of all records and reports of Site visits within forty-eight (48) hours of the Site visit. B. Architect shall endeavor to protect the District against defects and deficiencies in the execution and performance of the work of the Project. C. Architect shall advise District in writing of any observations of defective work, work not in conformance with Drawings and Specifications, and lack of progress of work. D. Architect shall establish and maintain to the satisfaction of District, a computer database compatible with the database maintained by District. The Architect’s database shall maintain complete and accurate records regarding defective work, work not in conformance with Drawings and Specifications, and lack of progress of work, and shall cross reference such work to the Drawings and Specification sections violated. Architect shall make such database available to District at all reasonable times and turn over the database to District upon completion or termination of this Agreement. E. Architect shall not, during visits or as a result of observations of Contractor’s work in progress, supervise, direct or have control over Contractor’s work.
Visits to Site and Observation of Construction. ENGINEER shall make visits to the site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction as he deems necessary in order to observe as an experienced and qualified design professional the progress and quality of the various aspects of Contractor's work. Based on information obtained during such visits and on such observations, ENGINEER shall endeavor to determine in general if such work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents and shall keep CLIENT informed of the progress of the work. The purpose of ENGINEER's visits to the site will be to enable him to carry out the duties and responsibilities assigned to and undertaken by him during the Construction Phase, and, in addition, through his experience as a qualified design professional, to provide for CLIENT a greater degree of confidence that the completed work of Contractor will conform generally to the Contract Documents and that the integrity of the design concept as reflected in the Contract Documents has been implemented and preserved by Contractor. On the other hand, ENGINEER shall not, during such visits or as a result of such observations of Contractor's work in progress supervise, direct or have control over Contractor's work; nor shall ENGINEER have authority over or responsibility for the means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures of construction selected by Contractor, for safety precautions and programs incident to the work of Contractor or for any failure of Contractor to comply with laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, codes or orders applicable to Contractor furnishing and performing his work. Accordingly, ENGINEER can neither guarantee the performance of the construction contracts by Contractor nor assume responsibility for Contractor's failure to furnish and perform his work in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Visits to Site and Observation of ConstructionThe Consultant will make periodic visits to the Site in order to observe the progress of the Work. Such visits and observations by the Consultant are not intended to be exhaustive or to extend to every aspect of Contractor’s work in progress. Observations are to be limited to spot checking, selective measurement, and similar methods of general observation of the Work based on the Consultant’s exercise of professional judgment. Based on information obtained during such visits and such observations, the Consultant will determine if Contractor’s work is generally proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents, and the Consultant shall keep the Board informed of the general progress of the Work. The Consultant shall not, during such visits or as a result of such observations of Contractor’s work in progress, supervise, direct, or have control over Contractor’s work, nor shall the Consultant have authority over or responsibility for the means, methods, techniques, equipment choice and usage, sequences, schedules, or procedures of construction selected by Contractor, for safety precautions and programs incident to Contractor’s work, nor for any failure of Contractor to comply with laws and regulations applicable to Contractor’s furnishing and performing the Work. Accordingly, the Consultant neither guarantees the performance of any Contractor nor assumes responsibility for any Contractor’s failure to furnish and perform its work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Visits to Site and Observation of Construction. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will provide on-site construction observation services during the construction phase. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will make visits at intervals as directed by the City in order to observe the progress of the Work. A maximum of three (3) site visits are anticipated. Such visits and observations by Xxxxxx-Xxxx are not intended to be exhaustive or to extend to every aspect of Contractor's work in progress. Observations are to be limited to spot checking, selective measurement, and similar methods of general observation of the Work based on Consultant’s exercise of professional judgment. Based on information obtained during such visits and such observations, Xxxxxx- Xxxx will evaluate whether Contractor's work is generally proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents, and Xxxxxx-Xxxx will keep the City informed of the general progress of the Work. The purpose of Xxxxxx-Xxxx’x site visits will be to enable Xxxxxx-Xxxx to better carry out the duties and responsibilities specifically assigned in this Agreement to Xxxxxx-Xxxx, and to provide the City a greater degree of confidence that the completed Work will conform in general to the Contract Documents. Xxxxxx-Xxxx shall not, during such visits or as a result of such observations of Contractor's work in progress, supervise, direct, or have control over Contractor's work, nor shall Xxxxxx-Xxxx have authority over or responsibility for the means, methods, techniques, equipment choice and usage, sequences, schedules, or procedures of construction selected by Contractor, for safety precautions and programs incident to Contractor's work, nor for any failure of Contractor to comply with laws and regulations applicable to Contractor's furnishing and performing the Work. Such visits and observations by Engineer, and the Resident Project Representative, if any, are not intended to be exhaustive or to extend to every aspect of the Work in progress or to involve detailed inspections of the Work in progress beyond the responsibilities specifically assigned to Engineer in the Task Order and the Contract Documents, but rather are to be limited to general observation of the Work based on Engineer's exercise of professional judgment as assisted by the Resident Project Representative, if any.
