Volunteer Expectations.  You are expected to show up on time for the job you are volunteering for.  You are expected to fulfill your responsibilities by doing the tasks you were asked to do to the best of your ability and with enthusiasm.  If you find that you cannot fulfill your duties on a given day, you are expected to call or email that you will not be here as soon as you know.  You are responsible for getting your time sheet from the Information Desk, filling in all information and returning the completed form to the box. If you do not return the form, or complete it fully (and that includes getting a signature from the supervisor for your hours) your hours may not be counted. This form MUST be completed EACH time you volunteer. If you do not submit a form, your hours may not be recorded. The only exception is if there is an official sign-in sheet provided (usually at events with many in attendance). Please ask if there is any confusion.  You are expected to respond to email communications and monitor the blog for opportunities.  The library will ensure that all forms received are properly filed and recorded.  If time sheets are not filled out properly, the hours may not be recorded.  The library WILL NOT issue volunteer letters automatically. All letters must be requested by email or by a written form. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for your letter to be generated. Please be specific about whom the letter is for (College, NHS, etc.) The library keeps electronic records indefinitely so it isn’t necessary (and is in fact discouraged) to get a new volunteer letter every year.  A student may request verification of their hours at any time. This should be done in the same manner as a letter request (by written form or email) and it should be specified that it is only a verification. Please allow a minimum of two business days for verification to be processed and the information to be sent back to you.  It is highly suggested that students verify their hours with their own records every six months. If you have a dispute about the total, you should contact the library as soon as possible. Volunteer Expectations. The success of Aquastorm is due, in part, to the parents’ willingness to volunteer. There are many opportunities to volunteer during the year. If you have a child swimming in a Team-hosted swim meet, you are expected to volunteer during at least one session of the meet. The swim meets the Team hosts contribute to a significant portion of the Team’s income each year; it is vital that we have volunteers and are ready to host a smoothly-run meet. ● Swimwear: Practice suits and goggles are the responsibility of each athlete. Each athlete is encouraged to purchase a Team suit and cap (vendor is found on Aquastorm website). Suits must be paid for prior to the team order being placed. ● Other clothing: There are times during the season an athlete has the option to order Team t-shirts or other items, such as state shirts. These items must be paid for in advance. ● Other expenses: If any other expense not listed comes up, it will be communicated to every parent/guardian.

If you find that you cannot attend on any day you are scheduled to volunteer, you are expected to call or email that you will not be here as soon as you know. We do keep track of no-shows, and anyone with more than 2 no shows on their record will not get first pick of jobs, and will likely not be selected for a short term position again. You are responsible for getting your time sheet from the Information Desk, filling in all information and returning the completed form to the box. If you do not return the form, or make sure it is complete before depositing it; the hours on the form may not be counted. This form MUST be completed EACH time you volunteer, unless an alternate sign in sheet is offered by the staff. Failing to deposit the time sheets or to fill them out correctly (and legibly) may result in losing the hours on that time sheet. You are expected to respond to email communications, if required. You are expected to check the Volunteer Job Board on a regular basis to see what jobs are available; and to only offer to work if you know you can perform the task and work on the designated day or days.
Volunteer Expectations. Coach desires to volunteer because of his/her love of the sport and desire to make a difference in the lives of student-athletes. Coach represents that he/she is not expecting a paid position in the District as a result of this voluntary coaching assignment.

  • Volunteers The use of volunteers to perform bargaining unit work, as covered by this agreement, shall not be expanded beyond the extent of existing practice as of June 1, 1986. The Hospital shall submit to the Union, at three (3) month intervals, the number of volunteers for the current month and the number of hours worked and the duties performed.

  • Performance Expectations The Charter School’s performance in relation to the indicators, measures, metrics and targets set forth in the CPF shall provide the basis upon which the SCSC will decide whether to renew the Charter School’s Charter Contract at the end of the charter term. This section shall not preclude the SCSC from considering other relevant factors in making renewal decisions.

  • Volunteer Leave Subject to operational requirements as determined by the Employer and with an advance notice of at least five (5) working days, the employee shall be granted, in each fiscal year, a single period of up to seven decimal five (7.5) hours’ of leave with pay to work as a volunteer for a charitable or community organization or activity, other than for activities related to the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. The leave will be scheduled at a time convenient both to the employee and the Employer. Nevertheless, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to grant the leave at such a time as the employee may request.

  • Clients in this context, clients are people who are dependent upon the caring skills and services of the local authority, for example, the elderly, mentally infirm, those with mental or physical impairments. Clients in this context also include those whose needs are identified and catered for in settings such as schools and nurseries, that is, young children and school pupils dependent on the organisation for their educational and developmental welfare. Clients exclude internal authority customers (as in client departments) or external customers (for example, members of the public with planning applications), because neither are dependent on the local authority for their care and welfare. The exceptional needs of clients refer to those which are exceptionally demanding, not to those which are out of the ordinary.

  • Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)

  • Constraints This agreement is expressly subject to the debt limitations of the Oregon Constitution set forth in Article XI, Section 10 and is contingent upon funds being available and appropriated therefore. Any provisions of this agreement which would conflict with law are deemed inoperative to that extent.
