WAGES AND OTHER COMPENSATION
Section 16. 1(a) Effective March 26, 2023, the hourly rate in effect on March 25, 2023, for each employee in the bargaining unit shall be increased by three percent (3%). Effective March 26, 2023, the wages in scales in “Attachment A” will be in effect. Effective March 24, 2024, the hourly rate of pay in effect on March 23, 2024, for each employee in the bargaining unit shall be increased by three percent (3%). Effective March 24, 2024, the wages in scales in “Attachment A” will be in effect. Effective March 23, 2025, the hourly rate of pay in effect on March 22, 2024, for each employee in the bargaining unit shall be increased by three percent (3%). Effective March 23, 2025, the wages in “Attachment A” will be in effect.
Section 16.1 (b) In addition, effective March 26, 2023 each employee will move to the next step on the wage scale on the employees’ anniversary date. Those employees at or beyond the top step of the wage scale will receive a two percent (2%) wage increase effective March 26, 2023, March 23, 2024 and March 22, 2025 respectively of each contract year.
Section 16.2 The Receptionists Trainee will be hired at the base rate and will automatically move to the Receptionist position upon successful completion of a sixty (60) working day training/probationary period. Receptionist trainee will be for those new employees with no prior health care reception experience. All experienced individuals may be hired into the Receptionist position. Employees who are hired to work evening or night shifts will receive a thirty-five cents ($0.35) per hour evening shift differential and a seventy- five cents ($0.75) per hour night shift differential. Employees will be paid for all hours worked, both regular and overtime, at the rate for the shift for which they were hired. This provision shall apply only to the 24-hour facilities.
