WASH UP AND BREAK PERIODS. 15.01 An employee shall receive per shift: (a) Two (2) five (5) minute wash-up periods, one (1) at the end of each half shift. (b) Two (2) ten (10) minute break periods, one (1) at approximately the mid-point of each half shift, as scheduled by the Company, except that on the Afternoon Shift under Section 13.03 (a) (ii), there shall be only one ten (10) minute break approximately at the mid-point of the first half shift. (c) An employee who, at the end of his shift is to work overtime which the Company estimates will last in excess of one (1) hours shall have: (i) a break during the regular five (5) minutes wash up period at the end of his regular shift; and (ii) a five (5) minute wash up period at the end of the overtime work. 15.02 In cases of emergency work or where a stoppage in work affects the quality of an operation, the employees shall work through their break and lunch periods and the Company shall guarantee the break and lunch periods within one (1) hour of his regular scheduled lunch period.

WASH UP AND BREAK PERIODS. 17.01 The company will schedule a ten (10) minute break period in each half of each eight (8) hour shift and a ten (10) minute break period at the start of any overtime assignment expected to last a minimum of two (2) hours. When an employee works a minimum of two (2) hours overtime prior to the scheduled shift, the employee shall have a ten (10) minute break at the end of the overtime period. 17.02 The Company will schedule two (2) five (5) minute wash-up periods at the end of each half of each eight (8) hour shift. In the case of overtime, this will be taken at the end of the overtime period.

  • Break Periods There will be no rest periods, organized coffee breaks or other non-working time established during working hours. Individual coffee containers will be permitted at the employee’s work location.

  • Break Period All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

  • Retention periods Documentation which serves as evidence of orderly and proper data processing must be retained by ATOSS in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods beyond the end of the contract. To relieve itself of this obligation, ATOSS may turn said documentation over to the Customer at the end of the contract.

  • Limitation Periods To the extent that any limitation period applies to any claim for payment of the Obligations or remedy for enforcement of the Obligations, the Obligor agrees that: (a) any limitation period is expressly excluded and waived entirely if permitted by applicable law; (b) if a complete exclusion and waiver of any limitation period is not permitted by applicable law, any limitation period is extended to the maximum length permitted by applicable law; (c) any applicable limitation period shall not begin before an express demand for payment of the Obligations is made in writing by the Credit Union to the Obligor; and (d) any applicable limitation period shall begin afresh upon any payment or other acknowledgment of the Obligations by the Obligor.

  • Relief Periods Employees will be allowed breaks within the shift without reduction in pay and without increasing the regular working hours as follows: Shift Length Breaks Up to, and including 5.5 hours 1 – 15 minute break More than 5.5 hours 2 – 15 minute breaks In addition to the above, any shift over five (5) hours will also have a half (½) hour unpaid lunch within the shift.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as close as possible to the middle of the scheduled hours of work. The length of the meal period shall be agreed to at the local level and shall be not less than 30 minutes nor more than 60 minutes. (b) An employee shall be entitled to take their meal period away from the workstation. Where this cannot be done, the meal period shall be considered as time worked.

  • Probationary Periods Employees transferring to a different title will serve a six (6) calendar month probationary period. In the event the probationary period is not satisfactorily completed, the affected employee shall be returned to Job Bank assignment and the employee’s “bumping”, layoff or transfer rights under the Agreement or other applicable authority shall be restored to the same extent such rights existed prior to the employee taking the probationary position. Upon the affected employee’s first such return to the Job Bank, the employee shall be entitled to remain in the Job Bank for the greater of ten (10) business days, or the duration of the applicable Job Bank period, as determined under Article I, paragraph 2, that remained as of the date the employee began in the probationary position. The rate of compensation for the remainder of the employee’s time in the Job Bank will be the same as the rate in effect as of the employee’s last day in the probationary position. Return to the Job Bank terminates the employee’s work in the probationary assignment and, therefore, time served following the return to the Job Bank shall not be construed to count toward the completion of the probationary period.

  • Meal Breaks and Rest Periods On completion of not less than three hours work after commencement time or on completion of not less than two hours work after the meal break weekly Employees will become entitled to a rest period of ten minutes duration. Such rest period for pay purposes will be treated as time worked.

  • Work Period The normal work period shall consist of forty (40) hours of work within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours of work within a fourteen (14) day period.
