WASH-UP PERIODS. A. Reasonable wash-up times will be granted all workers represented by the Denver Metro American Postal Workers Union who perform dirty work or work with toxic materials. Employees on the clock performing dirty work will also be granted reasonable wash-up time prior to window duty. The time should be determined by the type of work performed by the individual.
B. In the event of disputes, consultation should be conducted between the union and management.
WASH-UP PERIODS. A. Article 8, Section 9 provides reasonable wash‐up time for a carrier who performs dirty work.
B. Each letter carrier will be granted reasonable time for wash‐up after casing the route and prior to delivering on the street. Every letter carrier will also be granted reasonable time for wash‐up after returning to the office from the street. Every letter carrier working as a router shall be granted reasonable wash‐up time each work day.

Reasonable wash-up will also be granted before and after performing window clerk assignments, if an employees has been performing dirty work, on the clock.

WASH-UP PERIODS. 23.01 The Company will allow a period of five (5) minutes for the purpose of washing up, putting away tools and cleaning the immediate job area prior to the end of the shift.
23.02 The five minute wash-up period may be extended with the permission of the Supervisor, depending upon the type of equipment to be cleaned.

Every career and city carrier assistant letter carrier will also be granted wash-up time not to exceed three (3) minutes for wash-up after returning to the office from the street.
