WASH-UP PERIODS. A. Reasonable wash-up times will be granted all workers represented by the Denver Metro American Postal Workers Union who perform dirty work or work with toxic materials. Employees on the clock performing dirty work will also be granted reasonable wash-up time prior to window duty. The time should be determined by the type of work performed by the individual.
B. In the event of disputes, consultation should be conducted between the union and management.
WASH-UP PERIODS. A. Article 8, Section 9 provides reasonable wash-up time for a letter carrier who performs dirty work.
B. Every letter carrier will be granted reasonable wash-up time after casing the route and prior to clocking to the street. Every letter carrier will also be granted reasonable wash-up time after clocking in to the office from the street. Every letter carrier working as a router shall be granted reasonable wash-up time prior to lunch and prior to end tour.
WASH-UP PERIODS. 23.01 The Company will allow a period of five (5) minutes for the purpose of washing up, putting away tools and cleaning the immediate job area prior to the end of the shift.
23.02 The five minute wash-up period may be extended with the permission of the Supervisor, depending upon the type of equipment to be cleaned.

WASH-UP PERIODS. Employees who perform dirty work or work with toxic materials shall be granted wash up time before lunch and at the end of their tour for a reasonable period, not to exceed five (5) minutes.

B. Each career and city carrier assistant letter carrier will be granted wash-up time not to exceed three (3) minutes for wash-up after casing the route and prior to delivering on the street. Every career and city carrier assistant letter carrier will also be granted wash-up time not to exceed three (3) minutes for wash-up after returning to the office from the street.
