WASH-UP PERIODS. A. Article 8, Section 9, provides reasonable wash‐up time for a letter carrier who performs dirty work.

Employees on the clock performing dirty work will also be granted reasonable wash-up time prior to window duty. The time should be determined by the type of work performed by the individual.

WASH-UP PERIODS. Employees who perform dirty work or work with toxic materials shall be granted wash up time before lunch and at the end of their tour for a reasonable period, not to exceed five (5) minutes.
