Weddings. Employees may apply for an unpaid leave of absence for up to five (5) days to attend the wedding of an immediate family member (dependent, parents, grandparents, brothers, sister and in-law relations in the same categories). The request will be submitted in writing to the Superintendent at least thirty (30) days prior to the requested leave. The day immediately preceding, or the day immediately following a legal holiday or school recess (e.g., New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, etc.) will not be recognized by the Board as an unpaid leave day, except for circumstances presenting unusual circumstances. Those circumstances will be reviewed by the Superintendent or designee to determine whether such time should be granted.
Weddings. Photos and videos with no more than three (3) vendor staff involved, no flashbulbs. Photo and video operators must be appropriately dressed. Photographers are not permitted to move or remove the microphones. No flash photography during the Service. Videos during service may be taken from out of sight of clergy. Check with officiating clergy for their individual policies.
Weddings i. The wedding party will have access to the Beit Knesset (Chapel) or Sanctuary and Bride’s Room. When there is more than one ceremony on a given day there will be at least two hours between the starting times for the ceremonies.
ii. For purposes of safety, no birdseed, rice, table grapes, candy, flower petals or confetti may be thrown at the wedding couple at any time.
Weddings. Because adequate time is needed to prepare church facilities for Sunday Services, we suggest Saturday weddings adhere to the following suggested schedule.
a. Weddings will not be scheduled for couples living together. The ministers may be willing to do these weddings “off-site”.
b. Wedding and reception at church – schedule wedding no later than 2:00 p.m.
c. Wedding at church only – schedule wedding no later than 4:00 p.m.
d. No weddings will be scheduled on a Sunday, holiday, or any other day that will conflict with the church calendar. All dates must be scheduled & cleared through the church office. Please complete a “calendar request form” ASAP from the office.
Weddings. Other as approved by the superintendent. Unused personal days will convert to the MBU's sick leave account at the end of each school year. Any MBU planning to use personal leave should provide his/her immediate supervisor with one week's notice for regular usage of personal leave. In emergency situations a call or email to the building administrator will initiate procedures.
Weddings. If the Customer cancels a wedding reception and/or ceremony, the following charges may be imposed at One Warwick Park Hotel discretion,
i) For cancellations between thirty six (36) and twenty four (24) weeks prior to the date the charge will be fifty per cent (50%) of the Estimated Total Account for the event less VAT.
ii) For cancellations between twenty four (24) and four (4) weeks prior to the date the charge will be seventy five per cent (75%) of the Estimated Total Account for the event less VAT.
iii) For cancellations less than four (4) weeks prior to the date the charge will be 100% of the Estimated Total Account for the event less VAT.
