WORK CLOTHING, LOCKERS AND TOOLS. Supply of Uniforms When the Employer requires the employees to wear uniforms, as specified in the work rules for particular jobs, the Employer shall furnish such uniforms free of charge. The Employer shall launder and maintain the uniforms and they shall remain the property of the Employer. When, as it is not presently practical for the Employer to launder and maintain the shirts and blouses, an allowance of fifty cents (50 cents) will be paid per shift worked. All employees that terminate their service with the Employer for any reason shall be required to return clothing and other equipment supplied by the Employer. If any employee fails to return such clothing and/or equipment supplied by the Employer, the value of such items, less depreciation, will be deemed to be a credit obligation owing to the Employer and shall be deducted from the employee's final pay cheque.
WORK CLOTHING, LOCKERS AND TOOLS. ‌ 32.1 Supply of Uniforms‌ Coveralls and a uniform appropriate to the summer season will be provided to all stock employees. CSA approved work gloves shall be provided for all stock employees.

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer shall provide and pay for all protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect employees from injury and unhealthy conditions. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the employees.

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 29.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer. 29.2 Suitable protective clothing shall be provided at the employer's expense where the duty involves a risk of excessive soiling or damage to uniforms or personal clothing or a risk of injury to the employee.
