WORK DAY DEFINITION. The staff workday shall be when school is in session and students are present exclusive of attendance at faculty meetings, in-service, periodic parent conference and meetings, extra curricular and supervisory assignments provided, however, that the staff workday be on weekdays only and shall not exceed six and one-half (6 ½) consecutive clock hours at the elementary schools and seven (7) consecutive clock hours at the middle schools.
WORK DAY DEFINITION. For the purposes of the grievance procedure, work days shall be defined as Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
WORK DAY DEFINITION. A working day constitutes a regularly scheduled day in which the probationary employee performs the duties of their contracted position.
WORK DAY DEFINITION. Normal workday for Lieutenants: Any Corrections Lieutenant would receive 8.5 hours of regular time, with 1/2 hour of straight compensatory time for shift preparation including a paid lunch. All Lieutenants will work Monday - Friday, 9 hour days, with a 1/2 hour paid lunch, equaling 8.5 paid work hours.
WORK DAY DEFINITION. 1. The teacher work day will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on student contact days. For the 2022-23 calendar year there are 148 student contact days.
