Work Week and Work. Day The regular work week for all employees shall be forty (40) hours. For purposes of accruing vacation, sick leave and bereavement leave, the working day for forty (40) hours per week employees shall be eight (8) hours.

Where the Hospital and the Union agree, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Labour, other arrangements regarding hours of work may be entered into between parties on a local level with respect to tours beyond the normal or standard work day in accordance with the provisions set out in Article of the Collective Agreement.
