XXXXXXX AND RECALL. 20.01 In the event that an Employee’s job function is discontinued, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to find the Employee alternate work at the work site. Should no alternate work be available at the work site, the Employee shall be given a six month notice of layoff, during which time the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to place the Employee within Serco. If there is no suitable employment available within Serco, the Employer may lay off the Employee at the end of the six month notice period.‌ An Employee laid off by the Employer shall have the right of recall to the same or suitable positions within the work site in priority over all other individuals.
