XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). The tenderers shall submit an Xxxxxxx Money Deposit (EMD) as per tender by crossed account payee Demand Draft/Bank guarantee (valid for 180 days from due date of tender) drawn on any Nationalized / Scheduled banks other than Co-operative banks in favour of “HPCL RAJASTHAN REFINERY LIMITED” payable at Mumbai. EMD shall be submitted in physical form in a sealed cover boldly super-scribed on the outer cover i) Tender No. ii) Item Description iii) Due date and time iv) Name of the Tenderer. It shall be sent by Registered Post/Courier at following address so as to reach within the timelines as per GeM GTC: HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited, 7th Floor, XXX Xxxxxxxxxxxxx Eastern Express Highway, HRRL will not be responsible for non – receipt of EMD due to postal delay/loss in transit etc., Cheques, Cash, Money Orders, Fixed deposit Receipts, etc. towards EMD are not acceptable. Similarly, request for adjustment against any previously deposited EMD / Pending Dues / Bills / Security Deposits of other contracts etc. will not be accepted towards EMD. A vendor who wishes to submit a bank guarantee (BG) towards Xxxxxxx money Deposit (EMD)/Security Deposit (SD)/Composite Performance Bank Guarantee (CPBG)/Advances/ towards any other requirement of the tender, is required to ensure that the issuing bank is on SFMS platform. BG contains following details:

XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). 6.1.1 All Bidders shall furnish EMD of the amount as mentioned in Section III: Bid Data Sheet. However, Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) as defined in MSE Procurement Policy issued by Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) or Start-ups as recognized by Department for Promotion of Industrial and Internal Trade (DPIIT) are exempt from submitting the EMD on submission of documents to the extent as per the Government of India notifications in this regard. EMD for the mentioned amount shall be deposited to IWAI Fund through RTGS / NEFT in the following account:
6.1.2 Bids not accompanied by EMD shall be rejected as non-responsive.
6.1.3 No interest shall be payable by the Employer for the sum deposited as EMD.
6.1.4 The EMD of those Bidders whose Financial Bids have been opened but are not selected as “successful Bidder” would be returned within seven days of issuance of Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to the successful Bidder.
6.1.5 The EMD of Bidders who have not qualified for opening of Price Bids in terms of clause 3 & 16 of ITB would be returned within seven days of opening of Price bid.
6.1.6 The EMD shall be forfeited by the Employer in the following events:
i. If Bid is withdrawn during the bid validity period including any extension agreed to by the Bidder thereof.
ii. If the Bid is varied or modified in a manner not acceptable to the Employer after opening of Proposal during the validity period or any extension thereof.
a. If the Bidder tries to influence the evaluation process.
iii. If the lowest Bidder raises any fresh issue and / or T&C after opening of bid and prior to signing of agreement, it will be construed as withdrawal of the original bid and in that case EMD is liable to be forfeited.
iv. In case the Bidder, submits false certificate in terms of any documents supported to this Tender.
v. If the Bidder fails to sign the Contract in accordance with Conditions of Contract on receipt of LoA.
vi. In case the Bidder is found to indulge in corrupt or fraudulent practices at any stage of the execution of the contract.
vii. If the Bidder fails to furnish the Performance Bank Guarantee in accordance with Conditions of Contract.
viii. In case of a Bidder revoking or withdrawing his Tender or varying any terms of the Bid without the consent of the Employer in writing.
ix. In case of forfeiture of EMD, as prescribed from (i) to (viii) above, the Bidder shall not be allowed to participate in the retendering process of the work.
XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). The tenderer shall furnish EMD of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Deputy General Manager (B&O), State Bank of India, Administrative Office, Jabalpur payable at Jabalpur. No tender shall be considered unless the EMD is so deposited in the required form along with the tender. No interest shall be paid on EMD. The EMD of the unsuccessful tenderer shall be returned within 30 days without interest after the decision to award the work is taken. All compensation or other sums of money payable by the contractor to the Employer under the terms of this contract may be deducted from the Xxxxxxx Money Deposit if the amount so permits or from any sums payable to the contractor and the contractor within ten days after such deductions shall make good the amount so deducted.
XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). 17.1 The Bidder shall furnish, as part of the Bid, Xxxxxxx Money Deposit (EMD), in the amount specified in the Bid Data Sheet.
17.2 The EMD shall be in the form of online only given in the Bid Data Sheet.Other form(s) of EMD will not be allowed by the employer by mentioning it in the bid data sheet.
17.3 Bid not accompanied by EMD shall be liable for rejection as non-responsive.
17.4 EMD of bidders whose bids are not accepted will be returned within ten working days of the decision on the bid.
17.5 EMD of the successful Bidder will be discharged when the Bidder has signed the Agreement after furnishing the required Performance Security.
17.6 Failure to sign the contract by the selected bidder, within the specified period, for whatsoever reason, shall result in forfeiture of the xxxxxxx money deposit.

17.2 The EMD of tender paid online.
17.3 Bid not accompanied by EMD shall be liable for rejection as non-responsive.
17.4 EMD of bidders whose bids are not accepted will be returned within ten working days of the decision on the bid.
17.5 EMD of the successful Bidder will be discharged when the Bidder has signed the Agreement after furnishing the required Performance Security.
17.6 Failure to sign the contract by the selected bidder, within the specified period, for whatsoever reason, shall result in forfeiture of the xxxxxxx money deposit.
XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). 6.1.1 Bidders shall furnish EMD of the amount as mentioned in Section III Data Sheet except Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) as defined in MSE Procurement Policy issued by Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) or Department or Startups as recognized by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) on submission of a valid registration certificate as per the Government of India rules. EMD for the amount mentioned above shall be deposited to IWAI Fund through RTGS in the following account

XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). Bidders seeking EMD exemption must submit valid supporting documents for the relevant category as per GeM GTC. Under the MSME category, only manufacturers for goods and service providers for services are eligible for exemption. • EMD will be refunded to unsuccessful Bidders within 30 days of the contract award.
XXXXXXX MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD). Bid must be accompanied with xxxxxxx money (i.e Xxxxxxx Money Deposit (EMD) also known as Bid Security) in the form of ‘Demand Draft’ / ‘Banker’s Cheque’ [in favour of XXXX (India) Limited payable at place mentioned in BDS] or ‘Bank Guarantee’ or ‘Letter of Credit’ strictly as per the format given in form F 4/ F- 4A (as the case may be) of the Tender Document. Bidder shall ensure that EMD submitted in the form of ‘Bank Guarantee’ or ‘Letter of Credit’ should have a validity of at least ‘two [02] months’ beyond the validity of the Bid. EMD submitted in the form of ‘Demand Draft’ or ‘Banker’s Cheque’ should be valid for three months. Bid not accompanied with EMD, or EMD not in requisite format shall be liable for rejection. The EMD shall be submitted in Indian Rupees only.

The Bidder shall furnish, as part of its bid, a Bid security (BS) / Xxxxxxx Money Deposit (EMD) of amount as specified in NIT in the form of a Bank Guarantee / Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled / Commercial / Nationalized Bank in favour of the Director, The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, The scan copy of the Bid Security / Xxxxxxx Money Deposit (EMD) has to be uploaded in the e-procurement website of the Institute and Original copy of the same has to be kept in the Technical Bid envelop which needs to be submitted on or before date submission of bids. Alternately EMD amount can be deposited in IITM, Pune account by RTGS/NEFT/SWIFT. The details of online transfer may be communicated to IITM Pune immediately.
