Formal Step a. Level One (1) An employee whose grievance is not resolved at the Informal Step may, within thirty (30) days of the occurrence or event on which the grievance is based, file with the appropriate administrator a written grievance on the grievance form, provided by the Association and attached hereto as Appendix A. The grievant shall specify the provision or provisions of this Agreement alleged to be violated, misinterpreted, misapplied or misunderstood and the resolution expected. (2) The appropriate administrator shall: (a) Meet with the grievant within five (5) days of receipt of the written grievance; (b) Within five (5) days from the meeting date referred to in (2)(a) above, submit a written response to the grievant and the Association.

Formal Step. 2. Settlement not being reached at the formal first step meeting the appropriate Union representative shall have thirty (30) calendar days in which to appeal the grievance to the Labor Relations Manager. Discussions shall commence, unless mutually arranged otherwise, within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of the Union’s written notice. The Company shall respond in writing within thirty (30) calendar days to the appropriate Union representative upon completion of the Formal Step 2 discussion.
Formal Step. 1) If the teacher is not satisfied with the informal discussion, the teacher shall place the grievance in writing and present it to the designated supervisor or principal within five (5) days following the informal conference. 2) The teacher may again meet and discuss the matter alone or together with his association representative. 3) A written and signed disposition of the grievance shall be made within five (5) days by the designated supervisor or principal.
Formal Step. If the grievance is not resolved at the informal level, within ten (10) days the employee or local Association official will present the grievance in writing to the supervisor or appropriate designated person. Within ten (10) days after the presentation of the grievance, the supervisor or designee shall respond to the grievance in writing to the employee.
Formal Step. 1: 13.3.1 If the matter is not resolved on the informal basis, the matter shall be reduced to writing by the grievant and, if requested, by the Xxxxxxx stating the precise Article and Paragraphs of this Contract that has allegedly been violated, a statement of the facts, the position of the employee, and the desired action of the Board. This written grievance shall be submitted to their immediate supervisor and/or principal within five (5) working days. 13.3.2 The immediate supervisor and/or building principal shall within five (5) working days of receipt of the written grievance, submit her/his disposition of the matter to the employee and xxxxxxx in writing.
Formal Step. 2: 13.4.1 If the alleged grievance is not solved to the satisfaction of the employee and the Union, the Chief Xxxxxxx may submit the written grievance within five (5) working days to the appropriate Staff Director who shall meet with the Xxxxxxx, Chief Xxxxxxx, and when the Board or the Union deems it necessary, with the grievant within five (5) working days, to try and resolve the grievance. The appropriate Staff Director shall within five (5) working days after the meeting submit her/his disposition of the matter in writing to the Chief Xxxxxxx.
Formal Step. Prior to filing the grievance, the teacher or the Association shall informally meet with the immediate supervisor and discuss the alleged grievance.

Formal Step. If the informal decision does not resolve the grievance, the grievant may appeal the decision to the Principal, in writing, within ten (10) days after the receipt of the informal decision. The appeal to the Principal must specify the following: a) the action that is the subject of the grievance; b) the provisions of the Agreement violated; and c) the remedy sought
Formal Step. If the grievance is not resolved as a result of the Informal Step discussion with the immediate supervisor, a formal written grievance must be presented to the Director of Human Resources (or designee) within ten (10) days of the Informal Step meeting. The written grievance will set forth the specific terms of the agreement that have allegedly been violated, specify a specific remedy that is being sought, and the reason why the Informal Step conversation is being rejected as a means to resolve the dispute. The Director of Human Resources (or designee) shall meet with the grievant to discuss the alleged violation within ten (10) days of receipt of the written grievance. The Director of Human Resources (or designee) will provide a written decision to the grievant within ten (10) days of the Formal Step meeting.
Formal Step. If the grievance is not resolved at the informal meeting, the aggrieved may present a formal claim on the form in Appendix A to the immediate Supervisor and Director in writing within five (5) days after the Director’s response at the informal step. If the aggrieved has elected not to use the informal procedure, the aggrieved may present a formal claim to the immediate Supervisor and Director in writing, within twenty (20) days after the date of the occurrence of the fact or condition on which the grievance is based. Within seven (7) days after receipt of the written grievance, the immediate Supervisor or Director shall meet with the teacher to attempt to resolve the grievance. The immediate Supervisor and Director shall give a written answer to the teacher within five (5) days after this meeting.
