Youth Services. Goodwill operates several programs for local youth, including Camp Goodwill. This summer program operates for several week-long periods with a $20 registration fee for students ages eight to twelve. Goodwill also provides a youth mentoring program at local Sioux City schools for middle school and high school students, and an alternative educational setting called YouthBuild. In YouthBuild students work toward their high school diploma or GED, while also learning about the construction trade and gaining valuable leadership skills. Last, Goodwill offers the Youth Employment Services program that helps special education students with the transition to adulthood and employment while offering paid work experience.

Youth Services. 16 a. At least one hundred five (105) youth tobacco users from Orange County shall 17 participate in a series of five (5) cessation sessions, which are at least forty-five (45) minutes in length. 18 An individual has to attend at least three (3) cessation classes to be counted as a participant. Each 19 participant shall receive an initial scheduling call and two (2) follow-up calls at thirty (30) and one 20 hundred eighty (180) calendar days after completing the service. Thirty-three percent (33%) of the one 21 hundred and five (105) youth served shall report abstinence from tobacco use six (6) months after 22 completing the service.
23 b. At least two hundred eighty-five (285) youth tobacco users from Orange County shall 24 participate in a one-time seminar that is at least one (1) hour long. Each participant shall receive an 25 initial scheduling call and two (2) follow-up calls at thirty (30) and one hundred eighty (180) calendar 26 days after completing the service. Thirty-three percent (33%) of the two hundred eighty-five (285) 27 youth shall report abstinence from tobacco use six (6) months after completing the service.
Youth Services. Calculation of seniority will be based on service date within classification, or a 22 promotional position in the same division, or lateral position in the same bargaining unit. If an 23 employee is demoted, or bumped back to a previously held position, the employee may retain their 24 time in service in the promotional or lateral position, provided the employee returns to the bargaining 25 unit within two (2) years, or as the result of a layoff. The service date is adjusted for unpaid leaves of 26 absence that exceed thirty (30) calendar days, unless otherwise required by law.
