Activating the Card. The Card has no value until it is activated by the cashier at the time of purchase.
Activating the Card. The Card has no value and cannot be used until it is activated by you. Use of the Card: You are solely and completely responsible for the possession, use and control of the Card. If we determine that you have obtained or used the Card fraudulently, or contrary to the terms of this Agreement, you agree that you must surrender the Card to us immediately upon request by us. Your Card Balance will reflect all transactions that have been posted to our system. Recovery from loss, theft or unauthorized use: You will be asked to provide us with your name, the Card number, the three digit security code, and the transaction history. We cannot re-issue a Card if you do not have your Card number and security code. If our records show that a Balance still remains on the Card, we will cancel the Card and make such Balance available to you on a re-issued Card. It may take up to thirty (30) days to process your re-issuance request. Notification and change of terms:

More Definitions of Activating the Card

Activating the Card. If the Card has an activation sticker adhered to the Card face, the Card has no value until it is (i) activated in accordance with the instructions on the sticker; and (ii) signed by you on the back of the Card, where indicated. If the Card does not have an activation sticker adhered to the Card face, you must sign the back of the Card, where indicated.

If our records show that a Balance still remains on the Card, we will cancel the Card and make such available Balance amounts available to you on a re-issued Card. It may take up to thirty (30) days to process your re-issuance request. Notification and change of terms: Subject to the limitations of Applicable Law, we may at any time change or remove any of the terms and conditions of, or add new terms or conditions to this Agreement, except that we will never add any new fees to your Card or increase any existing fees. We will post any such changes, as well as the most recent version of this Agreement, on the Website. As of the effective date included in any notice, the changed or new terms will apply to the Card, including, without limitation, all future transactions made using the Card. You are responsible for checking our Website for such notifications. You will be deemed to accept and be bound by the amendment upon use of the Card following the effective date of the amendment. If you do not agree to any change of this Agreement, you agree to immediately stop using the Card and notify Peoples Trust that you are terminating this Agreement.

Related to Activating the Card

  • Communications service provider means a service provider that provides broadband service.

  • Telecommunications service provider means that term as defined in Section 219a of the Michigan Penal Code, supra, as may be amended from time to time. As of January 2012, "Telecommunications Service Provider" is defined to mean any of the following:

  • Wireless service provider means a person that provides wireless service to the public.

  • Communications services means any service provided for the purpose of transmission of information including, but not limited to, voice, video, or data, without regard to the transmission protocol employed, whether or not the transmission medium is owned by the provider itself and whether or not the transmission medium is wireline. Communications service includes all forms of telephone services and voice, video, data or information transport, but does not include: (1) cable service; (2) open video system service, as defined in 47 C.F.R. 76; (3) private communications system services provided without using the public rights of way or private communications system services that use the public rights of way without imposing any additional burden on the public rights of way; (4) over-the-air radio or television broadcasting to the public-at-large from facilities licensed by the Federal Communications Commission or any successor thereto; and (5) direct-to-home satellite service within the meaning of Section 602 of the Telecommunications Act.

  • Mobile telecommunications service means the same as that term is defined in the Mobile Telecommunications Sourcing Act, 4 U.S.C. Sec. 124.

  • Wireless services provider means a person who provides wireless services.

  • Wireless services means any services, provided using licensed or unlicensed spectrum, including the use of Wi-Fi, whether at a fixed location or mobile.

  • Access Services refers to interstate and intrastate switched access and private line transport services.

  • Customer-generator means a user of a net metering system.

  • Telecommunications Services means the offering of Telecommunications for a fee directly to the public, or to such classes of users as to be effectively available directly to the public, regardless of the facilities used.

  • Video service provider or "provider" means a person authorized under this act to provide video service.

  • Communications service means a service capable of accessing, connecting with, or interfacing with a 911 system by dialing, initializing, or otherwise activating the system exclusively through the digits 911 by means of a local telephone device or wireless communications device.

  • Respite services means a temporary period of relief and support for individuals and their families provided in a variety of settings. The intent is to provide a safe environment with staff assistance for individuals who lack an adequate support system to address current issues related to a disability. Respite may be provided for a defined period of time; respite is either planned or provided in response to a crisis.

  • Personal wireless services means commercial mobile services, unlicensed wireless services, and common carrier wireless exchange access services, as defined by federal laws and regulations.

  • Electric power supplier means a person or entity that is duly

  • Home service provider means the facilities-based carrier or reseller with which the customer contracts for the provision of mobile telecommunications services.

  • Support Services means support in relation to the use of, and the identification and resolution of errors in, the Hosted Services, but shall not include the provision of training services;

  • public telecommunications service means the transmission by electromagnetic or other means, other than by a telephone company as defined in section 4927.01 of the Revised Code, of signs, signals, writings, images, sounds, messages, or data originating in this state regardless of actual call routing. "Public telecommunications service" excludes a system, including its construction, maintenance, or operation, for the provision of telecommunications service, or any portion of such service, by any entity for the sole and exclusive use of that entity, its parent, a subsidiary, or an affiliated entity, and not for resale, directly or indirectly; the provision of terminal equipment used to originate telecommunications service; broadcast transmission by radio, television, or satellite broadcast stations regulated by the federal government; or cable television service.
