Airfield Area definition

Airfield Area means the runways, taxiways, and apron areas (other than the Apron Areas), navigational aids, hazard designation and warning devices, airfield security roads and fencing, blast fencing, lighting, clear zones and safety areas for landing, taking off and taxiing of aircraft, aviation easements, land utilized in connection therewith or acquired for such purpose, and facilities, the acquisition, construction or installation cost of which is wholly or partially paid by the City.
Airfield Area means the land identified as Airfield Area on Schedule B, and, except as otherwise provided herein, all facilities, equipment and improvements now or hereafter located thereon, including the Runways, Taxiways, aprons and facilities at the Airport for the purpose of controlling and assisting arrivals, departures and operations of aircraft using the Airport, such as control towers or other facilities operated and maintained by the FAA or any other Governmental Authority, security fences, service roads, signals, beacons, wind indicators, flood lights, landing lights, boundary lights, construction lights, radio and electronic aids or other aids to operations, navigation or ground control of aircraft whether or not of a type herein mentioned and even though located away from but related to the rest of the Airfield Area.
Airfield Area means (1) the Cost Center of the same name, as described in “Exhibit B”, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, (2) the land identified as Airfield Area on “Exhibit A”, (3) all facilities, equipment, improvements, runways, taxiways, and control towers, for the purpose of controlling or assisting arrivals, departures and operations of aircraft, (4) other airport-related facilities operated and maintained by the FAA or any other federal agency, (5) security fences and service roads located on the Airport and part of the Airfield Area, and (6) signals, beacons, wind indicators, flood lights, landing lights, boundary lights, construction lights, radio and electronic aids or other aids to operations, navigation or ground control of aircraft whether or not of a type herein mentioned and even though located away from but related to the rest of the Airfield Area, except as otherwise provided herein.

  • The use by Airline of the Premises, the Public Areas, the Airfield Area and all other areas of the Airport shall be subject to such Airport Rules and Regulations as are now or may in the future be adopted by the Port, provided that such Rules and Regulations do not conflict with applicable provisions of state or federal law.

  • In the event that, at any time during a Fiscal Year, the total costs of the City allocable to the Terminal E Project, or the Terminal E Apron Area, or the Airfield Area, or the APM, or the aggregate total landed weight of all airlines, is projected by City to vary ten percent (10%) or more from the estimates used in setting City Charges or Landing Fees, such rates and charges may be adjusted either up or down for the balance of such Fiscal Year, provided that such adjustment is deemed necessary by City.

Airfield Area means areas and facilities provided for the landing, takeoff, and taxiing of aircraft, including all runways, taxiways, Apron, aircraft approaches and clear zones, roadways accessing the airfield and aviation easements and other related support facilities.
