Approved 4K Device means a device manufactured by an approved manufacturer and that Licensor approves in writing in its sole discretion, subject to the 4K Content Protection Requirements [Note: Let’s discuss this definition. Approved 4K Device means the (i) Sony 4K Media Player FMP-X1 and (ii) any other device that Licensor approves in writing in its sole discretion as an Approved 4K Device. The 4K Device shall provide access to the VOD Service and the DHE Service, be capable of receiving 4K VOD Programs and/or 4K DHE Programs, as applicable, via the 4K VOD Transmission Means and/or 4K DHE Transmission Means, as applicable, and shall implement the 4K Content Protection Requirements and 4K VOD Usage Rules and/or 4K DHE Usage Rules, as applicable. For purposes of the Agreement, the Approved 4K Device shall constitute a separate category of Approved Device, and neither the Approved 4K Device nor the associated Sony 4K television in relation to a Customer’s viewing of 4K VOD Programs and 4K DHE Programs shall: (i) fall under the definitions of Streaming Devices or Domain Devices, (ii) be counted towards a Customer’s Domain, or (iii) shall be subject to the Content Protection Requirements set forth in Schedule B-1 of the Agreement.

Examples of Approved 4K Device in a sentence

  • The 4K Program must be bound to one Approved 4K Device and the playback license is not transferable from one device to another.

  • Any Subscriber may play back any 4K Programs on the Approved 4K Device (for example, in the case where User A and User B each purchase 4K Programs on the same device).

More Definitions of Approved 4K Device

Approved 4K Device means an individually addressed and addressable IP-enabled Media Player FMP-X10 (i) which shall provide access to the Licensed Service, and (ii) be capable of supporting the Approved 4K Format specifications for reception of any Included Program in the Approved 4K Format via the Authorized 4K Delivery Means, (iii) which shall be playable for display solely on or through an associated television set or display monitor which is capable of displaying such Included Program in the Approved 4K Format (i.e., not a conventional HD TV set or monitor), and (iv) which shall comply at all times with the Content Protection Requirements and implement the Usage Rules. For clarity, an Approved 4K Device shall not include Portable Devices, game consoles, set-top boxes or personal computers unless specifically approved by Licensor in writing.
Approved 4K Device means each of the Sony 4K Media Player FMP-X1, FMP-X10, and successor Sony 4K Media Player devices that have at least the same level of content protection as the foregoing.   • Approved Device means a device described in Subsection 20A-21-201(4) used to

  • CAISO Approved Meter means any revenue quality, electric energy measurement meter furnished by Seller, that (a) is designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with the CAISO’s metering requirements, or, to the extent that the CAISO’s metering requirements do not apply, Prudent Electrical Practices, and (b) includes all of the associated metering transformers and related appurtenances that are required in order to measure the net electric energy output from the Generating Facility.

  • Alcohol Screening Device (ASD) means a breath or saliva device, other than an Evidential Breath Testing Device (EBT), that is approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and placed on its Conforming Products List for such devices.

  • Approved List means Securities followed by the Global Fundamental Research Group and tracked on the Approved List. Securities may be added, removed, or undergo periodic ratings changes.

  • Security Device means any passwords, User identification numbers, certificates, or other form(s) of authentication or security used to access the Service.

  • Final Product means a reasonably homogenous cannabis product in its final packaged form created using the same standard operating procedures and the same formulation.

  • Major Equipment means the items of Equipment listed as such in Attachment G.

  • Assistive technology device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capacities of a child with a disability.

  • Prescription device means an instrument, apparatus, implement, machine, contrivance, implant, in vitro reagent, or other similar or related article, and any component part or accessory, which is required under federal or state law to be prescribed by a practitioner and dispensed by or through a person or entity licensed under this chapter or exempt from licensure under this chapter.

  • Mobile Device means a computing device, typically smaller than a notebook, which runs a mobile operating system, such as iOS, Android, or Windows Phone. Mobile Devices include smart phones, most tablets, and other form factors.
