Common Use Formula definition

Common Use Formula is a formula for calculating the appropriate charges to be levied on each tenant occupying the Rental Car Facility leasing Common Use Space, whereby each tenant of the Rental Car Facility shall pay that proportion of the rent attributable to the Common Use Space as its Exclusive Space bears to the total amount of Exclusive Space leased by all tenants of the Rental Car Facility.
Common Use Formula means the formula used to prorate the total monthly rent attributable to the Common Use Space (including the monthly cost of maintaining and operating the inbound baggage claim conveyor system in the Terminal 1 Cost Center) in each Terminal Building among those airlines using such Common Use Space (the “Common User Airlines”) as follows:
Common Use Formula means a formula that prorates Twenty Percent (20%) of a service charge or space rental equally among the Signatory Airlines (including their Affiliates) using the service or space and prorates Eighty Percent (80%) of the service charge or space rental among the Signatory Airlines (including their Affiliates) using the service or space so that each pays that proportion thereof which the number of its Originating Passengers at the Airport during the month bears to the total number of Originating Passengers by all Signatory Airlines at the Airport during the same month. Non-signatory airlines using the Common Use Premises shall pay a fee per Originating Passenger established by the County. An example of the application of the common use formula is shown in Exhibit R.

Examples of Common Use Formula in a sentence

  • Common Use Space (surface) as described in Section 1.1(b)4, as said space may be adjusted from time to time pursuant to the provisions of Section 1.2., in accordance with the Common Use Formula specified in Section 4.3 hereof.

  • Limited Common Use Space in the Garage, Level 2 and QTA space as described in Sections 1.1(c)(i) and 1.1(c)(ii), respectively, as said space may be adjusted from time to time pursuant to the provisions of Section 1.3, in accordance with the Limited Common Use Formula specified in Section 4.4 hereof.

More Definitions of Common Use Formula

Common Use Formula means the formula specified in Section 8.03.
Common Use Formula means a formula that prorates the cost of a service or space, excluding the Regional Ramp, among those Airlines actually using the service or space as follows: 20 percent of the cost equally among each such Airline and 80 percent of the cost on the basis of that proportion which the number of each such Airline’s Enplaned Passengers at the Airport bears to the total number of Enplaned Passengers of all such Airlines at the Airport; provided, however, that Airlines that only operated aircraft with 40 seats or less during the relevant period will be excluded from the proration of the 20 percent of costs, but included in the proration of 80% of costs.
Common Use Formula means a formula that prorates a Common Use Charge amount between American and Sublessee so that each such airline pays that proportion thereof which the number of gates it is then leasing or subleasing as lessee or sublessee bears to all gates (i.e., 26) in Terminal C. The portion of the Common Use Charges allocable to Sublessee and other items under this Sublease calculable with reference to the Common Use Formula shall be recalculated each month, if necessary, to account for the subleasing of additional gates, if any, by Sublessee.

The results of the Common Use Formula shall be calculated by the City, and shall become effective on January 1 and July 1 of every year; provided, however, that the City shall update its calculations upon the commencement of service by a new Common User Airline, for which the City shall estimate the average monthly number of Enplaned Passengers for purposes of the Common Use Formula calculations.
Common Use Formula means a formula used to prorate charges for a particular facility, service, or space used in common with others, as follows: Twenty percent (20%) of the charges are prorated equally among all airline users leasing Terminal Building space under this Agreement for the facilities, service, or space. Eighty percent (80%) of the charges are prorated according to the ratio of the number of Airline’s Enplaned Passengers at the Airport to the total number of Enplaned Passengers of all airlines using such facilities, service, or space. For invoicing, City will use the most recent six (6) months of available information to calculate the Common Use Charges.
