Group or Policy Grievance definition

Group or Policy Grievance means a grievance lodged by the Bargaining Unit on behalf of more than one of its members, all of whom being similarly affected by a general administration, or alleged violation of any term, provision, or condition of this Agreement. The parties may elect to be represented by counsel or representatives of their respective organizations at any stage of the procedure. The time limits fixed in this grievance procedure may be extended by mutual consent of the parties to this Agreement. There shall be no reprisals of any taken against any teacher because of participation in the grievance or arbitration procedure under this Agreement.

If the is unable to resolve the complaint, the Bargaining Unit may file a formal grievance at Step If the reply of the immediate supervisor of the at the Informal Stage is not acceptable to the Bargaining Unit, within twenty (20) days the Bargaining Unit may initiate a written grievance to the Director of Education. The Director of Education shall immediately the District Grievance of the Superintendent in charge of the grievance. The appropriate Superintendent of Schools (or designate) shall answer the grievance within ten (10) school days after receipt of the grievance. The written grievance shall contain :
