Examples of Ordinary Wage Rate in a sentence
If a public holiday falls on a day on which an Employee is not rostered for work, the Employee will be paid an additional eight hours pay at the Employee’s Ordinary Wage Rate.
Leave of absence will be granted at the Ordinary Wage Rate, or where the Employee works part of a shift, at the rate the Employee would have earned had the Employee not been absent from their Rostered Shift.
Any time worked on Saturday and Sunday is considered additional hours for the purposes of this sub-clause and is paid at weekend overtime rates of double the hourly Ordinary Wage Rate from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
