Experience Allowance. Beginning salaries shall include recognition of related documented experience. Having established the recent related clinical experience, the Home will credit a new nurse with one (1) annual service increment for each year of experience. Present employees are to be reclassified on the basis of the information that the Home already has, or that the Union or nurse supplies to them. When a period of more than two (2) years has elapsed since the nurse has occupied a nursing position, then the number of increments to be paid, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Corporation.

Experience Allowance. 8.01 - Credit for Previous Employment New employees may claim previous related work experience for placement on the salary grid. It will be the responsibility of the employee to provide proof of previous related work experience to the board in the form of a letter from their previous employer(s) stating the position held and the duration of time employed. The employee must provide the required documentation within sixty (60) days from the start of employment with the board or forfeit the right to claim related work experience for placement on the salary grid. If the required documentation cannot be obtained within this time frame the employee must satisfy the Board that he/she is making a determined effort to obtain the documentation as soon as possible. For placement on the salary grid the following procedure will be followed:

Experience Allowance. When a new employee has had direct experience in the area for which he or she is being employed over and above the requirements as advertised for the position or set down for the purposes of employment of the individual, the Police Chief may, in consultation with the Board, place the new employee in a level higher than Level one (1). Normally, no new employee may be placed in a level higher than Level two (2). The new employee will, regardless of level, be on probation for the first year.
Experience Allowance. 1. Officers (second engineer officers, (chief) engineer officers and electro-technical officers) are paid 5% of their basic wages as experience allowance after 2, 4, 6, 8, 11 and 14 years of service as a marine officer. When calculating the length of service that entitles employees to experience allowances, time served as an officer under any flag and time served in the Finnish Navy and Finnish Coast Guard as an officer will be included, as will time served in vessels of more than 750 kW in propulsion power that are in domestic traffic in terms of new employees. Time served with the same shipowner as a crew member is included in full when calculating experience allowances.
