Posted Schedules. Shift and standby schedules shall be posted four (4) weeks in advance of the schedule to be worked. The schedule will cover a period of not less than two (2) weeks and not more than twelve (12) weeks unless a longer period is mutually agreed between the Constituent Union and the Employer. (a) However, the Employer shall post the schedule for the period of July 1st to August 31st by June 1st of each year and for the period of December 15th to January 2nd by November 15th of each year. (b) A Nurse may request specific days off or to exchange days off with another Nurse within the period of the posted schedule unless otherwise approved by the Employer. The Employer may require the request to be in writing. Consent shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Employer provided that the Nurse has given reasonable notice of the change requested, it is operationally feasible and there is no financial cost to the Employer.
Posted Schedules. The schedule of hours shall be posted and approved two weeks in advance by the Manager. Changes may take place because of unforeseen circumstances or where an employee's request for change is mutually agreeable to the Manager, the employee requesting the change and the replacing employee. Each branch/department will maintain a posted master schedule.

Not applicable to a Nurse Practitioner. (See Article 7.31 and 7.32)
Posted Schedules. In nursing units, schedule requests, including requests to work extra shifts (non-overtime) above an employee’s FTE of record, must be submitted in writing in accordance to individual nursing unit’s practice for submitting requests or at least three (3) weeks prior to the start of the schedule. All regular employees will be scheduled to their FTE of record, including requests to work extra shifts (non-overtime) before 0.0 employees are placed on the schedule. Schedules will be posted at least two (2) weeks prior to the first day scheduled and schedules will cover twenty-eight (28) days. Exceptions include Environmental Services and Patient Escort Departments where schedules will be posted the Thursday prior to the start of the next payroll period and will cover fourteen (14) days.
Posted Schedules. It is the responsibility of the Nurse to check the posted schedule before days off. The posted schedule will not be changed with less than forty-eight (48) hours’ notification to the Nurse, without the Nurse’s agreement.

Posted Schedules. (a) All scheduled shifts for all departments shall be posted four (4) full weeks in advance. Such schedules will show the employee's regular days of work, together with regular assigned time off. Once the schedule has been posted, all replacement shifts will be offered to part time and 0 hour part-time staff in accordance with Article 19 with the understanding that staff will be contacted to be offered any replacement shifts. There will be no rearrangement of said schedule without twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to the employee involved, except in case of emergency or unless someone is returning after an illness. (b) No employee shall be scheduled to work more than five (5) consecutive days except upon her own request. (c) Where an employee identifies availability, and the employee is regularly scheduled for a shift less than eight (8) hours, the employee shall be scheduled an eight (8) hour replacement shift where available prior to the schedule being posted. (a) No employee shall be required to work a split shift.

The schedule will cover a period of not less than two (2) weeks and not more than six (6) weeks unless a longer period is mutually agreed between the Bargaining Unit representatives on the Union Management Consultation Committee and the Employer. (b) A Nurse may request specific days off normally with seven (7) days advance notice or to exchange days off with another Nurse. The Employer may require the request to be in writing. Consent shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Employer provided that the Nurse has given reasonable notice of the change requested, it is operationally feasible and there is no increased financial cost to the Employer.
Posted Schedules. 22.01 Five (5) days' notice of shift change shall be given to the employees directly concerned. Posted schedules may be altered or changed provided that five (5) days' notice is given. Failure to provide five (5) days' notice will mean all hours worked during five (5) days will be paid at premium rates. The exception of the requirement that five (5) days' notice of any schedule or shift change be given, will be in the case of illness.
