Severance Pay Period definition

Severance Pay Period has the meaning set forth in Section 6(c)(i).
Severance Pay Period means the period commencing on the effective date of the termination of Employee’s employment under Section 10 and ending on the day that is 12 months subsequent to the date of Employee’s termination. During the Severance Pay Period, Employee will be available to consult with the Company without the payment of additional compensation by the Company as provided in Section 12 herein, and Employee will promptly notify the Company if Employee commences employment with another employer.
Severance Pay Period means the period, commencing from the date of termination of the Employee’s employment under the MOP(S) Act, which corresponds to the number of weeks’ pay of the relevant gross benefit in clause 55.2.

  • In the event Employee obtains other employment before the end of the Severance Pay Period, Employee shall immediately notify the Company of such employment in writing.

  • During the Severance Pay Period, Employee will not, directly or indirectly, either on Employee’s own behalf or on behalf of any other person, firm, or corporation, divert or take away, or call on or solicit or attempt to call on or solicit, any of the Company’s current customers or clients, including those on whom Employee called on or who Employee solicited or with whom Employee became acquainted while engaged as an employee of the Company.

  • At the expiration of the Severance Pay Period, the Executive will cease being paid a car allowance.

  • Employee shall immediately repay to the Company all amounts paid by the Company as a Severance Payment applicable to the period commencing on the date of his new employment or the date a change in control payment is made through the end of the Severance Pay Period.

  • Further, you agree that, during the Severance Pay Period and thereafter, you will not disparage or criticize the Company or its Affiliates, their business, management or products, and that you will not otherwise do or say anything that could disrupt the good morale of Company employees or harm the interests or reputation of the Company or any of its Affiliates.


More Definitions of Severance Pay Period

Severance Pay Period means the period commencing on the effective date of the termination of my employment under Section 4(d) or 4(e) and ending on earlier of (a) the twenty-six-week anniversary of the termination of my employment under Section 4(d) or 4(e), (b) the twelve-week anniversary of my voluntary termination of my employment under Section 4(f) above or (c) the date on which I commence employment in another position that offers similar compensation and benefits. As a condition to the Company’s obligation to make such payments to me or on my behalf, during the Severance Pay Period I will be available to consult with the Company on such matters as the Company may reasonably request without the payment of additional compensation to me by the Company; provided, however, that I will not provide more than forty (40) hours of such consulting services in any calendar month.
Severance Pay Period means the period, commencing from the date of termination of the employee’s employment under the MOP(S) Act, which corresponds to the number of weeks’ pay of the relevant gross benefit in clause 62.2.
Severance Pay Period means the period commencing on the effective date of the Employee’s letter giving notice of his resignation and ending twenty-four (24) months subsequent to the date of such resignation letter.
Severance Pay Period means a period of eighteen (18) months. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, any Severance Pay provided for in this Section 5 shall be paid or commence on the sixtieth (60th) day (the "Severance Commencement Date") following the date of Executive's termination of employment, so long as Executive has signed and returned a Release and the seven (7) day revocation period (as described in Section 5(g) hereof) for the signed Release has expired. If a signed Release is not returned, Executive revokes the Release or the seven (7) day revocation period has not expired by the sixtieth (60th) day following Executive's termination of employment, Executive shall forfeit all Severance Pay, the Severance Bonus, the Pro-Rated Annual Bonus and the right to any continued Severance Benefits (as of the date of revocation or the Severance Commencement Date, whichever is earlier). All taxes and other deductions required by law, and any additional undisputed sums owing the Company shall be deducted from any Severance Pay, the Severance Bonus, the Pro-Rated Annual Bonus and/or Severance Benefits. Any benefits that accrue under this Section 5, if any, are net of any such amount other than taxes and other deductions required by law."
Severance Pay Period means, with respect to a Participant, the Severance Pay Period set forth next to Participant’s name on Exhibit A.
Severance Pay Period means (i) with respect to payment of salary or the provision of benefits, the period commencing on the day following termination of employment through the end of the Employment Period (disregarding any Additional Term that has not yet commenced), and (ii) with respect to the calculation of the bonus amount payable following termination of employment, the period commending on the day following termination of employment through the remaining Employment Period (disregarding any Additional Term that has not yet commenced). As used herein, the term “Non-Compete Period” shall mean the period from the date of termination of employment with the Company (which for purposes of Section 8 (b) shall be a termination whether or not pursuant to this Agreement) through and including the six month anniversary of such date of termination.
Severance Pay Period means the number of months of severance pay that the Employee receives from the Employer pursuant to the terms of Sections 2. or 3. of this Agreement.
