WMATA Facilities definition

WMATA Facilities or “WMATA Facility” means the Metro Station, adjoining tracks, entrances/exits, passageways (surface and subsurface), ramps, retaining walls, and other facilities for the Metro Station and any adjacent support facilities, including all improvements, infrastructure components, tangible property, structures and supports, access, curbing, guttering, drains, storm water facilities, utilities, parking (including lots, garages, spaces, meters, gates and revenue- collection facilities) located on property owned or used by WMATA; and all improvements, facilities, equipment, structures and other tangible property used in the operation, access to and from, maintenance, repair, servicing, removal and/or replacement of WMATA’s train, bus or other transit operations, wherever located, including all rail stations, rails, tunnels, tracks, bus bays, bus lay-over bays, bus transfer areas, supervisor kiosks, employee bathrooms, electric substations, conduits and lines, pedestrian walkways, waiting and shelter areas, facilities serving persons with disabilities, cooling towers, chiller plants, vent and fan shafts, bicycle rack and locker areas, Bike & Ride facilities, parking lots and parking garages, Kiss & Ride facilities, storage and maintenance yards and facilities, and all other associated facilities notwithstanding that some of the facilities may have been constructed by or at the expense of County or another third party. The WMATA Facilities are and shall be owned by WMATA and shall not be conveyed or leased to the County. WMATA reserves all rights relating thereto, including making additions or other alterations, demolishing all or any part of them, changing the nature of their use, changing the name of the Metro Station, and determining the use (or non-use) thereof, all in WMATA’s sole and absolute discretion.
WMATA Facilities means all improvements, structures, infrastructure components, tangible property and areas required for the use, operation, access, maintenance, repair, servicing, replacement or removal of any and all of the following: structures, supports, parking, operation, service facilities and areas relating to WMATA’s operations or activities, including, without limitation, all rail stations (including, without limitation, the Metro Station), tunnels, rails, tracks, bus stations, bus transfer areas, supervisor kiosks, employee bathrooms, electric substations, conduits and lines, escalators, elevators, canopies, pedestrian traffic, waiting and shelter areas, facilities serving persons with disabilities, cooling towers, chiller plants, vent and fan shafts, bicycle rack and locker areas, all other associated facilities, and any and all access to the same.IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the County and WMATA certify that this Agreement is executed by their respective authorized signatories and shall be effective as of the date of the latest endorsement below.

Examples of WMATA Facilities in a sentence

  • To ensure that WMATA is able to evaluate how the proposed change is incorporated into the Project, County shall submit a complete and comprehensive change proposal package (which must include all parts of the Project and/or WMATA Facilities to be impacted by such proposed change) when seeking a change under this Section.

  • All submissions to WMATA must clearly show all existing WMATA Facilities through highlight/shading on all relevant plans.

  • Except to the extent that parking is provided in a shared structure, all private development amenities, parking, loading, and service facilities shall be independent of WMATA Facilities.

  • At a minimum, Developers should assume that existing WMATA Facilities must be maintained in place or replaced at the Selected Developer’s expense.

  • Accordingly, it is not anticipated that plans and specifications for WMATA Facilities relevant to this Joint Development Solicitation will be made publicly available.

  • WMATA reserves the right to operate all WMATA Facilities in such manner as it sees fit.

  • If the existing WMATA Facilities must be removed before the permanent new WMATA Facilities are completed, the Selected Developer also must provide interim WMATA Facilities at its own expense.

Related to WMATA Facilities

  • New Facilities means facilities for which, by the cut-off date, neither of the following events has occurred:

  • Idle facilities means completely unused facilities that are excess to the governmental unit's current needs.

  • Generating Facilities means Interconnection Customer’s device for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request, but shall not include the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities.

  • Related facilities means any manager's units and any and all common area spaces that are included within the physical boundaries of the housing development, including, but not limited to, common area space, walkways, balconies, patios, clubhouse space, meeting rooms, laundry facilities, and parking areas that are exclusively available to residential users, except any portions of the overall development that are specifically commercial space.

  • Public facilities means amenities that are—

  • Facilities means any and all real property (including all buildings, fixtures or other improvements located thereon) now, hereafter or heretofore owned, leased, operated or used by Company or any of its Subsidiaries or any of their respective predecessors or Affiliates.

  • Railroad facilities means right of way and related

  • Wastewater Facilities means the structures, equipment, and processes required to collect, carry away, and treat domestic and industrial wastes and dispose of the effluent.

  • Existing Facilities means all existing buildings and other facilities, the sites for the buildings or facilities, and furnishings or equipment for the buildings or facilities located on real property acquired by the building authority under the terms of this act.

  • Electric Facility means a Generator or an electric transmission facility.

  • Authorized Facilities means the public facilities authorized to be financed, in whole or in part, by the CFD.

  • Generation Interconnection Facilities Study means a Facilities Study related to a Generation Interconnection Request.

  • Project Facilities means all the amenities and facilities situated on the Site, as described in Schedule-C;

  • Common Facilities means the facilities under D.G.sets/D.G.rooms, water storage tanks its pumping and supply system, sewerage & drainage systems, electric sub-station/ transformers/electric panels/distribution network, maintenance service rooms, lawns including lighting & services etc., roads, pathways & driveways including street lighting & services etc., guard posts, fire hydrants & fire fighting system etc. and all such facilities and areas for common use and excluded from the computation of Super Area of the Said Premises;

  • Generating Facility means the Generating Unit(s) comprising Seller’s power plant, as more particularly described in Section 1.02 and Exhibit B, including all other materials, equipment, systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy and thermal energy, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.

  • Shared Facilities means the gen-tie lines, transformers, substations, or other equipment, permits, contract rights, and other assets and property (real or personal), in each case, as necessary to enable delivery of energy from the Facility (which is excluded from Shared Facilities) to the point of interconnection, including the Interconnection Agreement itself, that are used in common with third parties.

  • Facility means any real property (including all buildings, fixtures or other improvements located thereon) now, hereafter or heretofore owned, leased, operated or used by Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries or any of their respective predecessors or Affiliates.

  • Bank Facilities means any overdraft limits or credit facility available to you and their associated terms;

  • Infrastructure facility means a building; structure; or networks of buildings, structures, pipes, controls, and equipment, or portion thereof, that provide transportation, utilities, public education, or public safety services. Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.

  • DIP Facilities means the DIP ABL Facility and the DIP Term Loan Facility.

  • Vending facility means automatic vending machines, cafeterias, snack bars, cart service, shelters, counters, and such other appropriate auxiliary equipment which may be operated by licensed managers and which is necessary for the sale of newspapers, periodicals, confections, tobacco products, foods, beverages, and other articles or services dispensed automatically or manually and prepared on or off the premises in accordance with all applicable health laws and including the vending or exchange of chances for any lottery authorized by State Law and conducted by an agency of a State within such State.   • Utility Facilities means the plant, equipment and property, including but not limited to, the poles, pipes, mains, conduits, ducts, cables, fiber optic cables, circuits, wires, lines, plant and equipment located under, on or above the surface of the ground within the Public Ways of the City and used or to be used for the purpose of providing utility services or Telecommunications Services.
