000 WAGES. 12. 100 Wages are to be paid as follows:
000 WAGES. 100 Wage rates for maintenance work shall be 95% of those as set forth in the Area Labour Agreement of the Member Union where such work is to be performed and shall be paid to all Employees under the terms of this Agreement, and wages shall be paid weekly by cheque or other legal tender.

At the Employer’s option, electronic pay records and records of Employment may be provided in lieu of printed records. Upon request from an employee that does not have the capability to access electronic records, printed pay records shall be issued. Upon request, a printed record of employment will be issued. For projects that are located within a one hundred (100) radius kilometers of Ft. XxXxxxxx city xxxx, wage rates for maintenance shall be 100% of base rates set forth in the Area Labour Agreement. Wages will be paid weekly by cheque or other legal tender by the end of the work day on Thursday. If there is a second shift the weekly cheques will be distributed by the end of the work day Wednesday if available on site. General Forepersons and Forepersons who have achieved the status of Industrial Construction Crew Supervisor designation from the Alberta Apprenticeship Industry Training will receive an additional one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) over the regular General Forepersons and Forepersons rates (for all hours worked) contained in the applicable reference agreement. The premium is not to be pyramided.

ii) The start and completion of a major shutdown cannot be accurately gauged by the installation or removal of safing blanks. The Company will make the initial determination of the start and finish of the major shutdown. In cases of disagreement, the term of the major shutdown will be referred to the Committee.

000 WAGES. 100 A) Wage rates for work performed under the Agreement shall be either: • $1.00 below the prevailing hourly wage rates set forth in the applicable Provincial Agreement of the affected Bargaining Agent and shall be paid to all Employees under the terms of this Agreement for maintenance work which is defined as follows: o Maintenance shall be work performed for the repair, renovation, revamp and upkeep of property, machinery and equipment within the limits of the plant property o All work performed by the Company on existing equipment and machinery, including all associated work in a given plant, shall be maintenance. This shall include replacement of existing individual items of machinery and equipment with new units, including all associated work. It is understood that this concept would not include replacement of an entire process system installation in a plant in order to increase production. o Addition of spare machinery or equipment may be done under the Maintenance Agreement. Example: There are two existing pumps. Both pumps are required to run at all times to maintain full production. A spare may be added for the purpose of having one pump down for maintenance. o The word “repair” used within the terms of this Agreement and in connection with maintenance, is work requested to restore by replacement or by revamp of parts of existing facilities to efficient operating conditions. o The word “renovation” used within the terms of this Agreement and in connection with maintenance, is work required to change by replacement or be “revamp” of parts of existing facilities to efficient operating conditions. o Fire restoration work will be administered as follows: o The restoration of a plant completely destroyed by fire is considered construction work. o The restoration of a major part of a plant including several sections which have been destroyed or damaged by fire, shall be governed by the following criteria: o The removal of damaged equipment and the preparation of the damaged area to make it suitable for new equipment will be Maintenance. o The installation and erection of new equipment will be construction. o When the fire damage is localized to a given operating unit, such as a hotmill, galvanizing line, by product plant and the like, then the restoration of same is to be considered maintenance. OR • the full prevailing hourly wage rates set forth in the applicable Provincial Agreement of the affected Bargaining Agent and shall be paid to all Employees...
000 WAGES. 100 Employees will advance one step per year and may not be advanced additional steps as part of any promotional package. A promotion shall be defined as movement to a position in a higher paygrade, e.g., from paygrade four to paygrade five.
