Absences Not Covered By Approved Leave. Employees who are absent from work in circumstances not covered by an approved leave provided under this Agreement will be placed in unpaid status. Unless such an absence is otherwise approved, employees in unpaid status may be subject to disciplinary action.

Absences Not Covered By Approved Leave. An absence of an employee from duty, including any absence for a single day or part of a day, that is not authorized by a specific grant or leave of absence under the provisions of this agreement, shall be deemed to be an absence without leave.   • General Leave of Absence a) Leave of absence without pay may be granted to employees for valid reasons as set out by Company policy.
