ABSENTEEISM & TIMEKEEPING. The parties agree to a target of zero % absenteeism and lateness over the period of this Agreement. The Consultative Committee will monitor problems associated with achieving the target and assist in the resolution of related problems.

ABSENTEEISM & TIMEKEEPING. 6.1.1 The Parties agree to a target of zero percentage unplanned absenteeism and lateness over the period of this Agreement. The Parties will monitor problems associated with achieving the target and assist in the resolution of related problems.

Related to ABSENTEEISM & TIMEKEEPING

  • Absenteeism No employee may absent himself from his work during the hours in which the establishment is open without the express permission of his employer except on account of illness and/or injuries or for causes beyond the control of such employee. An employee shall, within 24 hours of his failure to report for work, cause his employer to be notified thereof in the most expeditious manner available.

  • Alcohol (a) A worker who returns a negative alcohol test will be allowed to return to work with no record of the test kept. A worker who returns a positive result for alcohol (above 0.00mg/ml) will be deemed not fit work and will not be permitted to return to work;

  • Absences Section 1. All leaves of absence shall be without pay except as otherwise provided in this Article.

  • Excessive absenteeism 22 The parties recognize that every employee has a duty to 23 be reliably present at work, and that failure to confine sick leave usage to accrued 24 and available sick leave raises the possibility of discipline for excessive absenteeism. 25 Such cases, however, are subject to just cause review and require systematic 26 examination of relevant factors, including but not limited to:

  • WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR 3.1 The Employer and the Union agree that all employees should work in an environment that fosters mutual respect and professionalism. The parties agree that inappropriate behavior in the workplace does not promote the Employer’s business, employee well being, or productivity. All employees are responsible for contributing to such an environment and are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect.

  • Drugs Possession or use of drugs by the Student, any person present in the residence with the Student, or any person present in the Student’s residence with the permission of the Student during the Student’s absence, are strictly prohibited in any UCF DHRL facility. Prohibited drugs include, but are not limited to:

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.
