Access to Paid Personal Leave. Subject to the conditions set out in this clause, an Employee may take paid personal leave if the leave is taken:
(a) due to personal illness or injury (sick leave); or
(b) to care for or support a member of the Employee’s immediate family or household because of:
(i) a personal illness or injury affecting them; or
(ii) an unexpected emergency affecting them (xxxxx’s leave).
Access to Paid Personal Leave. (a) Paid personal leave is available to an employee, when they are absent:
Access to Paid Personal Leave. (a) Subject to the conditions set out in this clause, an Employee may take paid personal leave if the leave is taken:
(i) due to personal illness or injury (sick leave); or
(ii) to care for or support a member of the Employee's immediate family or household because of:
(A) a personal illness or injury affecting them; or
(B) an unexpected emergency affecting them (carer's leave).
(b) In normal circumstances an Employee must not take carer's leave under this clause where another person has taken leave on the same occasion to care for the same person.
Access to Paid Personal Leave. (a) Paid personal leave is available to an employee, when they are absent:
(i) due to personal illness or injury; or
(ii) for the purposes of providing care or support for an immediate family or household member who is sick and requires the employee’s care or support or who requires care or support due to an unexpected emergency.
(iii) due to the effects of family or domestic violence in accordance with clause 54.8.
(b) The Employer may, in its discretion, xxxxx paid leave consistent with the provisions for carer’s leave to provide care or support for a person who is not a member of the Employee’s household or who does not fall within the scope of the term ‘immediate family’.

(ii) for the purposes of providing care or support for an immediate family or household member who is sick and requires the employee’s care or support or who requires care or support due to an unexpected emergency.
(b) The Employer may, in its discretion, xxxxx paid leave consistent with the provisions for carer’s leave to provide care or support for a person who is not a member of the Employee’s household or who does not fall within the scope of the term ‘immediate family’.

(b) to care for or support a member of the Employee's Immediate Family or household, or to care for someone who is wholly or substantially dependant on the Employee, because of:
(i) a personal illness or injury affecting them; or
(ii) an unexpected emergency (xxxxx's leave).
(iii) the requirement to provide ongoing care or attention to another person who is wholly or substantially dependent on the Employee provided that the care or attention is not wholly or substantially on a commercial basis (carer's leave).
(c) In normal circumstances an Employee must not take personal leave under this clause to care for someone where another person has taken leave to care for the same person.
Access to Paid Personal Leave. (a) Paid personal leave is available to an employee, when they are absent:
(i) due to personal illness or injury; or
(ii) for the purposes of providing care or support for an immediate family or household member who is sick and requires the employee’s care or support or who requires care or support due to an unexpected emergency; or
(iii) In accordance with clause 58.4.
(b) The Employer may, in its discretion, xxxxx paid leave consistent with the provisions for carer’s leave to provide care or support for a person who is not a member of the Employee’s household or who does not fall within the scope of the term ‘immediate family’.

(b) The Employer may, in its discretion, xxxxx paid leave consistent with the provisions for carer’s leave to provide care or support for a person who is not a member of the Employee’s household or who does not fall within the scope of the term ‘immediate family’.
