ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. Personnel employed by the Contractor or subcontractors shall complete the course “CP Contractor Security/Safety Course”, and be registered prior to working on CP property, except that such personnel are not required to execute the Right of Entry form for contractors, it being understood that all contractors or subcontractors shall instead execute the Right of Entry Agreement attached to this specification. The CP orientation course is available at: xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. This course shall be completed annually. CP has exempted from this requirement those it classifies as “Delivery Persons” from this training, such as UPS, FedEx, trucking companies, etc. who merely access the property to supply materials or equipment. Contractor shall require its employees to be suitably dressed to perform their duties safely. Contractor shall require workers to wear personal protective equipment as specified by CP rules and regulations. All personal protective equipment will be of safe design and construction for the work to be performed and shall be maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition. Protective equipment shall include, but not be limited to the following PPE listed below that meet the U.S. ANSI standards (American National Standards Institute):  Eye and face protection ANSI Z 87.1  Head protection ANSI Z 89.1  Foot protection ANSI Z 41.1  High Visibility apparel ANSI / ISEA Z 107 Additional eye protection shall be provided to meet specific job situations such as welding, grinding, burning, etc.; and hearing protection which affords enough attenuation to give protection from noise levels that will be occurring on the job site. Only waist length shirts with sleeves and trousers covering the entire leg shall be worn. Flare-legged trouser bottoms shall be tied to prevent catching. CP requires that the Contractor provide their personnel with the proper training, and that the Contractor’s personnel are provided with 1) a sticker to be affixed visibly on their hard hat and 2) a qualification card so that CP employees know that the Contractor’s personnel are familiar with CP safety practices and proof of having successfully completed the “CP Contractor Security/Safety Course” course. If a Contractor’s employee does not have the sticker and qualification card, that Contractor employee will not be allowed on CP property. ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. Licensee agrees, on the behalf of each Holder and each Holder’s Related Persons (as defined in the front-end of this Agreement), that each Holder and each such other individual will not attend the Event if any one or more of the following is true on the day of the Event: • Within the prior 10 days, any such individual has returned a positive or inconclusive test result for COVID-19; • Within the prior 5 days, any such individual was exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 while such individual was not (i) up-to-date on vaccination against COVID-19, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), or (ii) recently recovered from a confirmed prior infection of COVID-19 within the past 90 days; or • Any such individual is experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 (e.g., sore throat, cough, nasal congestion) and has not returned a negative test result from an FDA-authorized test collected after symptom onset and within 1 day prior to the Event. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the individual may attend the Event if such individual has received clearance by a healthcare provider or public health authority, or pursuant to applicable public health guidelines, not to quarantine or isolate.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. Additional information may be required from SUBCONTRACTOR before any job is started depending upon the risk ranking of the task being performed. Examples of additional information may include but not limited to: Certifications of employees, maintenance records of equipment, training records, competency records, SOP's, etc.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. A. UNCW CONFINED SPACE ENTRY PERMIT - A UNCW Confined Space Entry Permit must be obtained from the University Environmental Health and Safety Division by the Contractor immediately after the Contract Award and prior to the commencement of any confined space activity relating to the project.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. (a) Implementer shall comply with the Environmental, Health and Safety Handbook for Contractors and the Supplier Code of Conduct, each of which may be updated from time to time upon Notice from SCE to Implementer, and are hereby incorporated by reference into this Agreement. Implementer shall immediately Notify SCE, with a copy to SCE’s Procurement Agent, if it knows or reasonably believes that it is not in compliance with the requirements of these policies.

  • Safety Requirements 17.1.1 The Concessionaire shall comply with the provisions of this Agreement, Applicable Laws and Applicable Permits and conform to Good Industry Practice for securing the safety of the Users. In particular, the Concessionaire shall develop, implement and administer a surveillance and safety programme for providing a safe environment on or about the Project, and shall comply with the safety requirements.

  • Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act The following clauses apply to any Federal-aid construction contract in an amount in excess of $100,000 and subject to the overtime provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. These clauses shall be inserted in addition to the clauses required by 29 CFR 5.5(a) or 29 CFR 4.6. As used in this paragraph, the terms laborers and mechanics include watchmen and guards.
