Afternoon Shifts. Any continuous eight (8) hours (including one-half hour meal break) between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight.
Afternoon Shifts. Those employees who work a scheduled shift ½ or more of which falls between 16:00 and 24:00 hours (4:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight) shall receive a shift differential of $1.20 per hour for said shift. MIDNIGHT SHIFTS Those employees who work a scheduled shift ½ or more of which falls between 24:00 and 08:00 hours (12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m.) shall receive a shift differential of $1.60 per hour ($1.75 effective January 5, 2020) for said shift. An employee shall not be eligible for shift differential for hours worked at premium rates, with the only exception being that employees shall be eligible for shift differential for applicable shifts worked on statutory holidays.
Afternoon Shifts. The Company may implement afternoon shifts which may consist of the following:
(a) Ten (10) Hour Shift
(i) If the Company institutes a four-day afternoon shift, four (4) consecutive nine and one-half (9 ½) shifts for which ten (10) hours will be paid as the regular work.
(ii) The standard work shift shall be between 1:00 pm to 1:00 am.
(iii) There will be a paid fifteen (15) minute coffee break in the first half of the shift and a paid fifteen (15) minute coffee break in the second half of the shift. In addition, there will be a thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch break at mid-shift.
(iv) Employees will receive a premium of fifty cents ($.50) per hour.
(v) Employees working four consecutive nine and one-half hour (9 ½) hour shifts for which ten (10) hours will be paid, will receive ten (10) hours pay for Plant Holidays.
(vi) A vacation week shall consist of 40 hours.
(b) Eight
Afternoon Shifts. If a second or afternoon shift is employed, the hours of work shall be eight (8) hours per shift and a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour will be paid for each hour paid for on the second or afternoon shift.
Afternoon Shifts. If the employee is rostered to work an afternoon shift, the employee must be paid an afternoon shift allowance of 20% extra for such shift.
