Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.
Afternoon Shift If a second shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours of work between the hours of 4:30 P.M. and 12:30 A.M. for which eight (8) hours will be paid and a shift premium of sixty-one cents (61¢) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.
Evening Shift Differential A shift premium of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour shall be paid:
Overtime or Callout Which Does Not Abut the Succeeding Shift (1) When overtime is worked there shall be an elapsed time of eight hours between the end of overtime and the time the employee reports for duty on the next regular shift, with no shortfall out of their regular shift.
Minimum Hours All employees shall be paid their regular hourly rate for each hour worked except where employed for less than four (4) consecutive hours per day, in which event they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. An employee who is called for work and upon reporting finds that his or her services are not required shall receive two (2) hours pay.
Lease Period The lease period of the Finance Lease Agreement I is 36 months, which commenced on October 28, 2022. The lease period of the Finance Lease Agreement II is 36 months, which shall commence on July 31, 2023.
Broken Shifts (a) An employee may agree to work broken shifts at any time; however an employee may be required to work broken shifts in the following circumstances:
Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.
Workday/Workweek A. The normal workweek for each full-time employee shall be forty (40) hours.
Normal Workday The normal workday shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work within a twenty-four (24) hour period.
