Agency/Department Head. An employee may formally submit a grievance to the agency/department head, or their designee, within fourteen (14) calendar days from the occurrence which gives rise to the problem. Such submission shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the grievance and the suggested solution. Within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of the written grievance, the agency/department head or his or her designee(s) shall meet with the grievant. Within fourteen (14) calendar days thereafter, a written decision shall be given to the grievant. The County shall, whenever practicable, notify the grievant if more than one (1) management representative shall attend the Step 1 grievance meeting.

Agency/Department Head. If an employee has a problem relating to an interpretation or application of this Memorandum of Understanding, the employee may formally submit a grievance to the Agency/Department Head within fourteen (14) calendar days from the occurrence which gives rise to the problem.   • Department Heads Department heads shall normally be tenured and hold the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in one of the departments to be served, unless mutually agreed to by the departmental faculty and administration. 3.1.2.1 When it becomes known that a department head position will become vacant, or if the department head position has already become vacant, or if a new department is created, the xxxx of the college shall meet with the department faculty within two (2) weeks to discuss qualifications and expectations for the position. When the department faculty is able to find more than one (1) acceptable candidate, the department may rank order its list of acceptable candidates and give reasons for its ranking. If the department is able to find only one (1) acceptable candidate, it shall recommend that candidate. If the department faculty does not find an acceptable candidate, the search will be ended. The xxxx will review the departmental recommendation(s) with the PVPAA. If the department’s recommendation(s) is approved by the PVPAA, the PVPAA shall recommend the appointment of the candidate to the President of the University. If the University does not accept the recommended candidate(s), the University has the right to declare the search process has ended. 3.1.2.3 In the event a department head position is not filled in a timely fashion through the preceding procedures, the Board may appoint a department head for a period not to exceed one (1) year. During this year the procedures specified in sections 3.1.2.1 and 3.

  • Settlement Administration 5.1 The Settlement Administrator shall, under the supervision of the Court, administer the relief provided by this Settlement Agreement by processing Claim Forms in a rational, responsive, cost effective, and timely manner. The Settlement Administrator shall maintain reasonably detailed records of its activities performed under this Settlement Agreement. The Settlement Administrator shall maintain all such records as are required by applicable law in accordance with its normal business practices, and such records will be made available to Class (a) Forward to Defendant’s Counsel, with copies to Class Counsel, all original documents and other materials received in connection with the administration of the Settlement Agreement within thirty (30) days after the date on which all Claim Forms have been finally approved or disallowed per the terms of the Settlement Agreement; (b) Receive requests from Settlement Class Members to exclude themselves from the Settlement Agreement and promptly provide to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel a copy thereof upon receipt. If the Settlement Administrator receives any exclusion requests from Settlement Class Members after the deadline for the submission of such forms and requests, the Settlement Administrator shall promptly provide copies thereof to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel. (c) Provide weekly reports to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel as provided in the contract to be entered into by Defendant with the Settlement Administrator, including without limitation, reports regarding the number of Claim Forms received. (d) Make available for inspection by Class Counsel or Defendant’s Counsel the Claim Forms and any other documents or correspondence received by the Settlement Administrator relating to the Settlement Agreement at any time upon reasonable notice. 5.2 The Settlement Administrator shall employ reasonable procedures to screen Claim Forms for abuse or fraud, including by cross-referencing the contact information provided on the Claim Forms against the Class List, and where a Claimant’s contact information does not appear on the Class List, the Settlement Administrator shall request from that Claimant further information. The Settlement Administrator shall reject a Claim Form, or any part of a claim for a payment reflected therein, where there is evidence of abuse or fraud. The Settlement Administrator shall also reject a Claim Form that does not contain all requested information necessary to screen the claim for fraud or abuse, after giving the Claimant a reasonable opportunity to provide any requested missing information.

  • Construction Administration Redeveloper shall be responsible for all components of the Redeveloper Improvements constructed by Redeveloper including construction management, coordination of contractors and regulatory permitting and other requirements. Redeveloper and its contractor(s) shall reasonably cooperate with City contractors performing work in the vicinity of the Redevelopment Project Area including, but not limited to, Redeveloper's scheduling of its work to provide for a smooth sequence of operations. The Redeveloper will be solely responsible for payment of all construction costs for the Redeveloper Improvements as set forth in this Redevelopment Agreement.

  • General Administration 13.1 The Managers shall handle and settle all claims arising out of the Management Services hereunder and keep the Owners informed regarding any incident of which the Managers become aware which gives or may give rise to claims or disputes involving third parties. 13.2 The Managers shall, as instructed by the Owners, bring or defend actions, suits or proceedings in connection with matters entrusted to the Managers according to this Agreement. 13.3 The Managers shall also have power to obtain legal or technical or other outside expert advice in relation to the handling and settlement of claims and disputes or all other matters affecting the interests of the Owners in respect of the Vessel. 13.4 The Owners shall arrange for the provision of any necessary guarantee bond or other security. 13.5 Any costs reasonably incurred by the Managers in carrying out their obligations according to Clause 13 shall be reimbursed by the Owners.

  • Project Administration The Contractor shall provide project administration for all Subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and others involved in implementing the Work and shall coordinate administration efforts with those of the A/E and ODR in accordance with these Uniform General and Supplementary Conditions and provisions of Division 1 Specifications, and as outlined in the Pre- construction Conference.
