The agreement demonstrates the curricular alignment of the two programs, thus enabling current associate degree holders, new students, and returning students to maximize their educational experiences and decrease redundancy in courses taken. This reduces time and expense, which are often barriers to earning a bachelor’s degree. Transfer students from Moraine Park Technical College will be admitted under this agreement only if they a) have successfully completed the A.A.S. in Marketing & Social Media Management program, fulfilling all coursework stipulated therein, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5/4.0; b) meet the standard admission requirements for UW-Oshkosh; and c) enroll in the B.S. or B.A. degree program with a major in Multimedia Journalism.

Students enrolling at any higher educational institution in northeast Wisconsin will be able to start their degree at any campus and finish a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology at UW Oshkosh. The B.S. degree with a major in Electrical Engineering Technology will be conferred by UW Oshkosh after the successful completion of the specified UW Oshkosh courses in residence at UW Oshkosh in addition to the UW Oshkosh courses transferred from a partnered institution. This will allow for current associate degree holders, new students, and returning students to maximize their educational experiences and decrease redundancy in courses taken and reducing time to degree. An articulation agreement between the A.A.S. degree in Electromechanical Technology offered at MPTC and the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at UW Oshkosh is justified by the close alignment of the curriculums, which leads to efficient transfer of credits and a natural extension of student learning in the transition from a two-year to a four- year degree program. This articulation agreement is entered into with the understanding that both parties shall remain properly accredited with their respective accrediting bodies, to wit: • UW Oshkosh: The Higher Learning Commission • Moraine Park Technical College: The Higher Learning Commission Here follows the curriculum agreed upon in this Articulation between UW Oshkosh and Moraine Park Technical College: Requirements are identical to those required for general admission to UW Oshkosh.

This articulation agreement clarifies the credits taken within the MATC imaging programs, block credits applied, and curriculum required to complete the bachelor’s degree program at UWM. To accommodate the working professional, courses can be completed through online course delivery or in the self-paced UW Flexible Option program. Students must meet all standard UWM admissions requirements to be eligible for participation in this agreement. Information on transfer admissions requirements may be found at xxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx.
