Alteration of Annual, Vacation, or Personal Leave Schedules. JEA has the unilateral right to alter the Annual, Vacation, or Personal Leave schedule of any employee in declared emergencies. This right includes the right to require employees who are on leave at the time of the declared emergency to return to work. In such cases, JEA will reimburse the employee for any non-refundable expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation or alteration of the employee’s Annual, Vacation, or Personal Leave plans.
