Common use of Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays Clause in Contracts

Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays. 32.5.1 For a full-time Employee, when a public holiday as set out in this Agreement falls within a period of annual leave, an additional day will be credited to the full-time Employee’s annual leave balance. 32.5.2 For a part-time Employee, when a public holiday falls within a period of annual leave and is observed on a day which the part-time Employee would have ordinarily worked, additional time equivalent to the ordinary working time that would have been worked if such day had not been a holiday, will be credited to the part-time Employee’s annual leave balance.
