Day Workers. 15.1.1 Day workers shall be entitled to an unpaid meal break of 30 minutes duration. Such meal break shall be taken between the fourth and fifth hours from the daily commencement time of the employee/s concerned ordinary hours. 15.1.2 To allow for continuity of work, meal breaks may be staggered.

Day Workers. Any Day Worker required to work more than one (1) hour beyond the end of their regular scheduled eight (8) hour shift, shall be furnished a meal ticket at the expense of the Company. If the employee continues to work, a meal ticket shall be provided every four (4) hours thereafter.
Day Workers. Employees who work during the regular school day shall be considered day workers and shall be paid the regular scheduled rate of pay.

Day Workers. All time worked before or after the employee's regular work day or regular work week, or on an employee's regular day off or on a public holiday shall be considered overtime. Employees will not be required to work overtime unless impracticable to make other arrangements. Overtime rates will be as follows: i) Time and one-half will be paid for the first two hours worked over the regular working time in any one day, and double time thereafter. ii) Double time will be paid for Saturdays and Sundays or for work performed by an employee on his or her regular weekly days off. iii) Day workers will be compensated at the rate of double time for all work between midnight and 8:00 a.m. In addition, employees required to work overtime immediately prior to, and continuous with, their next regular starting time will be compensated at the rate of double time for the overtime so worked. iv) Employees required to work on a public holiday will be paid at double time rates for all hours so worked and, in addition, the employee shall be paid at their regular daily rate of pay for the public holiday in accordance with Article 24-4. The employee shall have the option of converting all or a portion of the time worked at double time rates into compensating time off which may be taken as time off at a time mutually agreeable to the employee and the department.
Day Workers. Day workers, when requested to work other than their normal hours, shall be paid at the rate of two times their regular rate for the first period of work at the new hours.

Day Workers. (a) Employees are entitled to one (1) thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch period and two (2) paid ten (10) minute break periods; one (1) in the morning and one (1) in the afternoon. (b) Lunch break will be scheduled up to 13:30 hours. (c) Where an employee is requested by his supervisor to work through the lunch period, the employee will be paid one-half (½) hour overtime for his lunch break and be granted a paid twenty (20) minute lunch break to be taken at the earliest possible time.
Day Workers. (a) The Employer will schedule the work day between Monday and Friday so that it is divided into three (3) work periods separated by two (2), thirty (30) minute breaks. One (1) break will be paid, and the other break will be unpaid. (b) The maximum period between any work break, or a work break and the start or end of a standard work day, is five (5) hours. (c) Where an Employee works two (2) or more hours overtime after working Ordinary Hours, from Monday through Friday inclusive, after completion of the ordinary working hours as prescribed in clause 8.2 (a), the Employee is entitled to a crib break of thirty (30) minutes duration at the applicable rate of pay or to be paid thirty (30) minutes at double time in lieu of that additional crib break.
Day Workers. 12.01 The regular hours for service for Day Workers shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. subject to the following conditions: A) A thirty minute (consecutive) lunch break as scheduled between 12 noon and 1:00 p.m., except in case of a breakdown. B) One - 15-minute rest period in the morning. The above regular hours of work for day workers can be changed by mutual agreement. 12.02 Normal hours of employment for Day Workers shall not exceed forty (40) hours per week.
