Common use of Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays Clause in Contracts

Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays. Where a public holiday prescribed by this Agreement falls within the period of the Employee’s annual leave, that Employee shall be entitled to be absent from duty after the end of that period of leave for the same number of working hours as equals the number of hours that normally would have been worked on such a day.
