Annual Union Time. The FOP/OLC shall be authorized an aggregate of ten (10) work days of paid leave per calendar year for delegates to use any time during the year to attend FOP/OLC functions such as, but not limited to, conventions, educational meetings, or conferences. Management shall make other reasonable provisions for authorizing vacation leave or personal allowance credits for employees to attend FOP/OLC functions in addition to the above mentioned ten (10) days. In addition to the ten (10) delegate days listed in this article, the FOP/OLC shall be authorized a delegate “time bank.” Each year of this Agreement bargaining unit members shall be authorized to donate accrued leave time to said bank via a voucher form provided by Management. The FOP/OLC may utilize such time as necessary for FOP/OLC approved activities. The FOP/OLC may utilize all aforementioned provisions of this article by having the President or his designee notify the Chief of Police as soon as practicable upon learning of the need for such leave, but not less than two (2) employees from one (1) detail are designated by the FOP/OLC for said leave at any given time.

Annual Union Time. The Union is entitled to a total of forty (40) eighty (80) hours per year of this Agreement without loss of pay among the bargaining units the Union represents at the Sheriff’s Office to be used among Union officials or grievance representatives to attend to Union related activities. The Union may carry over up to sixteen (16) hours annual Union time to the following year. The carry-over is non-cumulative. The maximum available time in any given year shall be ninety-six (96) hours.

  • Union Time The Union President or his designated representative(s) shall have available a bank of two hundred (200) hours maximum per contract year to conduct Union business. This means the combined hours used by the Union President and his designated representative(s) to conduct the above described activities shall not exceed two hundred (200) hours per contract year. Such leave shall be provided upon written notice by the Union submitted to the Department Head not less than one (1) calendar week in advance of the requested date, or in the event that the one week notice is not possible, it shall be provided with reasonable notice. The designated representative(s) will consist of any PAGE board member, the two Vice-Presidents, Chief Xxxxxxx, Secretary, and Treasurer. In the event that a Union representative is required to attend meetings, or otherwise conduct business during his off duty time, and the business occurs within eight (8) hours of the start of their work shift, the Union representative will be allowed to use part of all of their shift off using Union time.   • Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee.   • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.

  • Comp Time In lieu of payment for overtime hours worked, the employee may request to take compensatory time off. Approval shall be at the discretion of the Department Head. If the request is approved by the Department Head, one and one-half (1 2) hours of compensatory time shall be credited for each overtime hour worked. A maximum accrual of compensatory time shall be forty (40) hours. Flex Time. The County recognizes and supports the concept of Flex time. Flex time is allowed within the work week as it is defined in Article 20, Section 2 of this contract. If an employee requests, an employee and their department head may agree to allow an employee to flex their schedule. However, in some departments and under some circumstances flex time may not be feasible and will not be permitted. No employee shall be required to take flex time off in order to avoid the payment of overtime or as a condition of continued employment.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

  • Wash-Up Time 60.01 Where the Employer determines that due to the nature of the work there is a clear cut need, wash-up time up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes will be permitted before the end of the working day, or immediately following and contiguous to the working day.

  • Date/Time Warranty Contractor warrants that Product(s) furnished pursuant to this Contract shall, when used in accordance with the Product documentation, be able to accurately process date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) transitions, including leap year calculations. Where a Contractor proposes or an acquisition requires that specific Products must perform as a package or system, this warranty shall apply to the Products as a system. Where Contractor is providing ongoing services, including but not limited to: i) consulting, integration, code or data conversion, ii) maintenance or support services, iii) data entry or processing, or iv) contract administration services (e.g., billing, invoicing, claim processing), Contractor warrants that services shall be provided in an accurate and timely manner without interruption, failure or error due to the inaccuracy of Contractor’s business operations in processing date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) various date/time transitions, including leap year calculations. Contractor shall be responsible for damages resulting from any delays, errors or untimely performance resulting therefrom, including but not limited to the failure or untimely performance of such services. This Date/Time Warranty shall survive beyond termination or expiration of this contract through: a) ninety (90) days or b) the Contractor’s or Product manufacturer/developer’s stated date/time warranty term, whichever is longer. Nothing in this warranty statement shall be construed to limit any rights or remedies otherwise available under this Contract for breach of warranty.

  • Bargaining Unit Roster Upon the signing of this Agreement and monthly thereafter, the Employer shall supply to the Union via a secured method an alphabetical list of all employees covered by this Agreement. The list shall include the name, address, employee identification number, date of hire, rehire date (if applicable), shift, FTE, job classification, department cost center number, unit, hourly rate of pay and monthly gross earnings. Each month, the Employer will provide a list of new hires and addresses, and a list of all employees who have terminated during the month via a secured method. The new hire and termination lists shall include the same data as the monthly employee roster except for monthly gross earnings. The termination list shall include the termination date. Within ninety (90) days of ratification, Swedish Medical Center and SEIU 1199NW will convene a work group including HRIS expert to explore a method for the Employer to provide a list of all employment changes for bargaining unit employees, via a secure site.

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.
