FTO Pay. 1. Employees, other than MPOs, who are assigned Field Training Officer responsibilities, shall receive an FTO differential of $3.50 per hour for each hour worked while training.
2. The Employer may continue the practice of nominating officers for annual leave awards for performing field training duties.
FTO Pay. An officer who has been certified as a field training officer (FTO) and who is working as an FTO by assignment of the Chief or his designee, shall receive one (1) hour of compensatory time off or pay, computed at straight time, for each eight (8) hours of assigned FTO duty.
FTO Pay. An employee performing FTO duties shall be paid an additional 12.5% of base wage plus longevity for each hour worked while performing these duties.
FTO Pay. Effective November 1, 2021 members who are assigned as a Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be paid a $3.00 per hour premium pay for those hours in which they are actually performing FTO duties.
FTO Pay. Employees who serve as Field Training Officers (FTO’s), including any officer acting in this capacity, shall receive one and one-half (1 1/2) hour of straight-time pay per day worked as an FTO. The length of the training periods shall be as designated by the Chief of Police.
FTO Pay. Employees assigned as Field Training Officers by the Chief of Police will receive $95 per day for the duration of the assignment, the length of such assignment as determined by the Chief. The supervising Sergeant in charge of field training shall receive $50 per week stipend during an 18 week field training cycle.
FTO Pay. An employee assigned in writing and as directed by department management to be a field training officer (FTO) shall be paid an additional $20 per pay period. This amount will be increased to $50 per pay period during any period in which the employee is assigned to work with a trainee as an FTO.
FTO Pay. For each day that they are training a new recruit, officers assigned as FTOs shall receive one (1) hour of straight time pay at their regular hourly rate. This pay shall not count toward overtime eligibility.
FTO Pay. Employees assigned to serve as a field training officer shall be compensated with three (3) hours of straight comp time per full regular shift served. If an employee has reached their comp time limit, compensation will be provided as straight time pay.
FTO Pay. Employees in the classification of Community Corrections Specialist II or Residential Counselor who are assigned in writing and as directed by department management to be a field training officer (FTO) shall be paid an additional amount equal to 5% of their base pay for all hours during which the employee is working with the trainee(s) as an FTO, and 2% of their base pay for all other hours worked.
