APPRENTICES AND APPRENTICESHIPS. 20.01 It is agreed that apprentices shall be paid in accordance with the following ratios: Term 1 50% Term 1 60% Term 2 60% Term 2 70% Term 3 70% Term 3 80% Term 4 90% Term 4 90% Term 1 50% Term 1 50% Term 2 60% Term 2 60% Term 3 70% Term 3 70% Term 4 80% Term 4 80% Term 5 90% Term 5 90% Term 1 50% Term 1 50% Term 2 70% Term 2 70% Term 3 90% 20.02 The Employer shall pay each apprentice, upon his return to work for the Employer, an Education Award for the successful completion of each school component as follows: 70% average $250.00 80% average $500.00 90% average $750.00 95% average $1000.00 20.03 If it is determined that the employee demonstrates the ability and the will to succeed in the Apprenticeship Program and the Employer is in need of the skill, then the Employer will contact the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and arrange a meeting with the proposed apprentice, the Ministry Consultant and Human Resources. 20.04 The Employer hereby agrees that should the applicant be accepted into the Apprenticeship Program, the Employer shall pay the registration fee to the Ministry. 20.05 The Company agrees to continue the payment of the benefit premiums as per Article 14.01 during the time an apprentice is attending trade school as if the apprentice was regularly working.
APPRENTICES AND APPRENTICESHIPS. 19.01 It is agreed that apprentices shall be paid in accordance with the Regulations issued under the Apprenticeship and Tradesmen's Qualification Act. 19.02 The Employer shall register apprentices with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities within six (6) weeks of commencement of employment. 19.03 The Employer shall pay apprentices attending trade school, twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per week while attending trade school, in addition to the E.I payments. Payments shall be made bi-weekly while the employee attends school.

APPRENTICES AND APPRENTICESHIPS. 18.01 It is agreed that apprentices shall be paid in accordance with the wages set forth for apprentices in Schedule “A” of this agreement or in accordance with the Regulations issued under the Apprenticeship and Tradesmen’s Qualification Act whichever rate is greater. 18.02 The Employer shall register apprentices with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities within six (6) weeks of commencement of employment. 18.03 The Employer shall pay a one thousand dollar ($1000) bonus to apprentices after successfully completing each year of trade school. In order to qualify, the apprentice must return to work for the employer. The bonus shall be paid out in two hundred dollar ($200) increments over the first five (5) pay periods, upon return to work for the Employer.
