ARCHITECTS STANDARD SERVICE. 1.1.1. Stage 1: Inception Receive, appraise, and report on the client's requirements with regard to: ∙ The client's brief. ∙ The site, legislated rights, and constraints. ∙ Budgetary constraints. ∙ The need for consultants. ∙ Project programme. ∙ Methods of contracting. ∙ Receive budget from client. 1.1.2. Stage 2: Concept & Viability Prepare an initial design and advise on: ∙ The intended space provisions and planning relationships. ∙ Proposed materials and intended building services, including any "Green Systems". ∙ Passive Environmental design. ∙ The technical and functional characteristics of the design. ∙ Check for conformity of the concept with the rights to the use of the land. ∙ Review the anticipated costs of the project. ∙ Review the project programme. 1.1.3. Stage 3: Design Development ∙ Confirm the scope and complexity. ∙ Review the design and consult with local and statutory authorities. ∙ Develop the design, construction system, materials, and components. ∙ Incorporate and co-ordinate all services and the work of consultants. ∙ Review the design, costing and programme with the consultants. 1.1.4. Stage 4.1: Documentation and Procurement ∙ Prepare documentation sufficient for local authority submission. ∙ Co-ordinate technical documentation with the consultants and complete primary coordination. ∙ Prepare schedules of materials and finishes for the works. | 2 ∙ Review the costing and programme with the consultants. ∙ Obtain the client's authority and submit drawings and documents for approval from the local authority. 1.1.5.   • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services. § 3.1.1 The Architect shall manage the Architect’s services, research applicable design criteria, attend Project meetings, communicate with members of the Project team, and report progress to the Owner. § 3.1.2 The Architect shall coordinate its services with those services provided by the Owner and the Owner’s consultants. The Architect shall be entitled to rely on, and shall not be responsible for, the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of, services and information furnished by the Owner and the Owner’s consultants. The Architect shall provide prompt written notice to the Owner if the Architect becomes aware of any error, omission, or inconsistency in such services or information. § 3.1.3 As soon as practicable after the date of this Agreement, the Architect shall submit for the Owner’s approval a schedule for the performance of the Architect’s services. The schedule initially shall include anticipated dates for the commencement of construction and for Substantial Completion of the Work as set forth in the Initial Information. The schedule shall include allowances for periods of time required for the Owner’s review, for the performance of the Owner’s consultants, and for approval of submissions by authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. Once approved by the Owner, time limits established by the schedule shall not, except for reasonable cause, be exceeded by the Architect or Owner. With the Owner’s approval, the Architect shall adjust the schedule, if necessary, as the Project proceeds until the commencement of construction. § 3.1.4 The Architect shall not be responsible for an Owner’s directive or substitution, or for the Owner’s acceptance of non-conforming Work, made or given without the Architect’s written approval. § 3.1.5 The Architect shall contact governmental authorities required to approve the Construction Documents and entities providing utility services to the Project. The Architect shall respond to applicable design requirements imposed by those authorities and entities. § 3.1.6 The Architect shall assist the Owner in connection with the Owner’s responsibility for filing documents required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project.

  • Architect Engineer shall provide assistance to Owner through the commissioning consultant/agent for the purpose of advising and counseling Owner’s personnel in the usage, operation and maintenance of the building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Design Standards Most recent edition of the “Owner’s Design Standards,” including any partial updates as may be directed by the Owner.

  • Service Level Standards In addition to all other requirements in this Agreement, and in accordance with the Best Claims Practices & Estimating Guidelines, Vendor shall use reasonable and good faith efforts to meet the Service Level Standards set forth below.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Infertility Services Freezing, storage and thawing of embryos, sperm, or other tissues, for future use, unless the freezing, storage and thawing is needed due to potential iatrogenic infertility as described in Infertility Services in Section 3. • Reversal of voluntary sterilization or infertility treatment for a person that previously had a voluntary sterilization procedure. • Fees associated with finding an egg or sperm donor, related storage, donor stipend, or shipping charges. • Services related to surrogate parenting, when the surrogate is not a member of this

  • Contractor’s Services shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted professional practices and principles and in a manner consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of Contractor’s profession currently practicing under similar conditions. Contractor shall comply with the profession’s standard of performance, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. By delivery of completed work, Contractor certifies that the work conforms to the requirements of this Agreement and all applicable federal, state and local laws. If Contractor is retained to perform services requiring a license, certification, registration or other similar requirement under California law, Contractor shall maintain that license, certification, registration or other similar requirement throughout the term of this Agreement.

  • Design Criteria and Standards All Projects/Services shall be performed in accordance with instructions, criteria and standards set forth by the Director.
