Assigned Hours per week. Full-time teachers shall be assigned to work at least thirty hours (effective February 2006, thirty hours and fifty minutes) per week. Adult education teachers shall be assigned during 2003-2004 for not less than the same number of hours per week they were assigned during 2002-2003. In each year thereafter such employees shall be assigned not less than the same number of hours per week they were assigned during the preceding year. It is understood and agreed that the implementation of this provision may require reassignment and reorganization of schedules.‌ The Office of Adult and Continuing Education shall use its best efforts to schedule such assignments in a manner which takes into account the needs of the program as well as the goal of minimizing the need to travel and the gap in time between teaching assignments.

  • hours per week An employee hired prior to September 1, 1997, who as of that date is scheduled to work a normal work week of less than forty (40) hours per week, shall not be scheduled to work a normal work week of forty (40) hours per week while he/she remains in his/her current position, unless agreed to by the employee.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines:

  • Core Hours (1) The default core hours for employees on Maxiflex schedules will be the 3 middle days of the employee’s tour of duty from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding a meal break.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Extended Hours Depending upon local service capabilities, available extended hour plans include 5-, 6-, and 7-day, 8-, 16-, and 24-hour options at additional cost. Alaris will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide Service outside of Agreement Hours as shown below. Any such service performed will be billed at prevailing Alaris Per Call Overtime rates.

  • Consecutive Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by unpaid lunch periods. No split shifts will be implemented without the mutual agreement of the Local Union and the Appointing Authority. Each party may cancel such agreement with thirty (30) days written notice to the other party.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • Extended Illness Sick leave for extended illness (5 or more days) will be paid only during the time period in which a physician certifies the employee to be physically or mentally disabled, and only to the extent of the number of days accumulated.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).
