At the employee’s request an employee may earn up to eighty‐four (84) hours of compensation time off, in lieu of overtime pay. This time must be used when school is not in session and shall be used by August 15 each year. (For each 1 hour worked, l.5 hours compensatory time will be given.)

At the employee’s request time off at the rate of time and one-half in lieu of overtime pay may be granted in the discretion of the Employer, such time off to be taken in the same calendar year at a mutually agreeable time. Any time in lieu not taken by December 31st will be paid out by the following January 31st.
At the employee’s request the Employer will review the status of a part-time Employee who on a regular basis is engaged for hours in excess of their nominated fortnightly hours of work, for a period exceeding 6 months. In circumstances where the requirement to work excess hours is likely to continue on an ongoing basis, and there is a genuine business need, the Employee’s hours may be increased to the hours that have actually been worked.
