Attitudes and behavior. Schools strive to offer all their students a hazard free and emotionally safe environment in which they can achieve their full academic and personal potential. In order for schools to achieve this objective, the responsibilities of students and parents include: ▪ Abiding by the school's behaviour policy which is attached with this contract. This policy will cover expected code of behaviour during the school timings, during extra-curricular activities, on school buses, during school trips and students' participation in social-media forums. ▪ Ensuring the student understands the school's expectations and possible consequences that may arise due to breach of the behaviour code. ▪ Attitudes and Behaviour should be aligned to the Vision and Mission of the school. ▪ An attitude of diplomacy and camaraderie should be followed at all times. The school has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying in all its forms. Bullying is the intentional and deliberate intimidation of another person through emotional, physical, psychological and/or cyber means. Instances of proven and intentional bullying may result in immediate suspension of the aggressor from the school. The matter will be referred to KHDA for ratification. Aligned with the above, the school will not tolerate any form of defamation or intentional harm practiced through social media forums. The school must set a clear policy for parents and students about the use of and participation in social media outlets and/or forums. This policy must include, but not be restricted to, the following: • Parents and students in all grade levels using any social media forum must, at all times, demonstrate respect for the members of the school community (including all students and personnel); • Parents and students must not breach confidentiality, defame or make threats to any person in the school community; • Parents and students must not use School's name, School Logo or any other official matters related to school in social media forums; • Parents and students are solely responsible for their public and social posts and may be subject to legal procedures should the post be found defamatory constituting any kind of harassment or discrimination; • Parents and students should support the School policy on anti- bullying; Instances of proven and intentional breach of the above will result in sanctions that may include Suspension from the school.

  • Behavior Students must respect each other.

  • Behaviour No obscene or insulting language or disorderly behaviour shall be permitted. This includes any form of entertainment that may be considered lewd or inappropriate for a public place or that may offend or cause embarrassment to others.

  • WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR ‌ 3.1 The Employer and the Union agree that all employees should work in an environment that fosters mutual respect and professionalism. The parties agree that inappropriate behavior in the workplace does not promote a college’s/district’s business, employee well-being, or productivity. All employees are responsible for contributing to such an environment and are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect. 3.2 Inappropriate workplace behavior by employees, supervisors and/or managers will not be tolerated. If an employee and/or the employee’s union representative believes the employee has been subjected to inappropriate workplace behavior, the employee and/or the employee’s representative is encouraged to report this behavior to the employee’s supervisor, a manager in the employee’s chain of command and/or the Human Resources Office. An employee or the employee’s representative should identify complaints as inappropriate workplace behavior. The Employer will investigate the reported behavior and take appropriate action as necessary. The employee and/or union representative will be notified upon conclusion of the investigation. Upon request, the Employer will provide the employee and the union representative with a copy of the investigation report. 3.3 Retaliation against employees who make a workplace behavior complaint will not be tolerated. 3.4 Supervisors, managers and Human Resource Office staff will be trained on Article 3, Workplace Behavior. The Employer and the Union agree to prepare and make available online a 15-minute joint training online presentation on workplace behavior for all employees covered by this CBA and their supervisors, managers and Human Resources staff. 3.5 Grievances related to this Article may be processed through Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure.

  • PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR Teachers are expected to comply with reasonable rules, regulations, and directions adopted by the Board, or its representatives, which are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, provided that a teacher may reasonably refuse to carry out an order which threatens physical safety or well being or is professionally demeaning.

  • Alcohol on the day of testing all workers onsite shall be required to submit a breath sample i.e. blanket testing.

  • Professionalism The Engineer shall perform the services it provides under the contract: (1) with the professional skill and care ordinarily provided by competent engineers practicing under the same or similar circumstances and professional license and (2) as expeditiously as is prudent considering the ordinary professional skill and care of a competent engineer.

  • Nepotism No employee shall be directly supervised by a member of his/her immediate family. “

  • BEHAVIOR AND CONDUCT The Student is responsible for knowing and observing all UCF regulations and procedures regarding behavior and conduct, including the UCF Golden Rule, UCF DHRL publications, and other official UCF publications. UCF DHRL reserves the right to establish or adopt additional rules regarding student conduct, as deemed necessary by UCF DHRL. Newly established or adopted rules will be communicated to the Student as provided in this document. The Student agrees to abide by additional rules and regulations that are established or adopted by UCF DHRL once communicated to the Student.

  • Employability Executive acknowledges (i) that Executive has sufficient abilities and talents to be able to obtain, upon the termination of Executive’s employment, comparable employment from another business while fully honoring and complying with the above covenants concerning confidential information and contacts with the Company’s or any of its Affiliates’ customers or employees, and (ii) the importance to the Company and its Affiliates of the above covenants. Accordingly, for a period of one (1) year following the termination of Executive’s employment with the Company and upon the Company’s reasonable request of Executive, Executive shall advise the Company of the identity of Executive’s new employer and shall provide a general description, in reasonable detail, of Executive’s new duties and responsibilities sufficient to inform the Company of its need to request a court order to enforce the above covenants.

  • Drugs Possession or use of drugs by the Student, any person present in the residence with the Student, or any person present in the Student’s residence with the permission of the Student during the Student’s absence, are strictly prohibited in any UCF DHRL facility. Prohibited drugs include, but are not limited to: A. any substance, the possession or use of which, regardless of amount, could be found to violate Federal or Florida drug abuse prevention and control laws; B. any prescription medication for which the possessor/user does not have a presently valid medical prescription.
