Availability of Sick Leave Allowance a. Pursuant to §3319.141 of the Ohio Revised Code, all full-time teachers and tutors shall accrue sick leave at the rate of one and one-fourth (11/4) days per month for each year under contract. Part-time employees shall accrue sick leave on a pro rata basis based upon a thirty six and one-fourth (361/4) hour week. A teacher completing a full school year will earn a total of fifteen (15) days of sick leave. Sick leave accumulation shall be unlimited. b. Each new full-time teacher shall be granted five (5) days sick leave effective the first day of the school year. These five (5) days shall be part of the total number of accumulated days to which the employee shall be entitled for the first year of employment. An additional five (5) days sick leave may be granted for new employees at the discretion of the Superintendent.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Uniform Allowance ‌ If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.

  • Sick Leave Usage 1. Sick leave may be used by an employee when sick, injured, or quarantined. Also sick leave may be used on the occasion of an illness in the employee's family, where a need can be shown. 2. In computing compensation payable for sick leave, the compensation paid shall be the amount the employee would earn during the sick leave period if working at their current rate of pay and work schedule without the inclusion of overtime earnings.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.
