Benefits on Layoffs. In the event of a layoff of a full-time employee, the Employer shall pay its share of the insured benefit premiums for the duration of the entitled notice period provided for in Article 13.05, provided the employee pays their share (if applicable). The employee may, if possible, under the terms and conditions of the insurance benefits programs, continue to pay the full premium cost of a benefit or benefits for up to three (3) months following the end of the month in which the layoff occurs. Such payment can be made through the payroll office of the Employer provided that the employee informs the Employer of his or her intent to do so at the time of the layoff and arranges with the Employer the appropriate payment schedule.
