Booklets. Eligible employees shall receive at no charge booklets listing and explaining all insurance benefits and conditions. Benefits shall be no less than those described in the book-let that applies to the effective date of the Agreement. Continuing eligible employees shall receive such booklets at no charge upon request or as necessitated by changes in the insurance program.
Booklets. The Company shall within one hundred twenty (120) days of ratification produce a booklet that contains all needed forms relating to claiming on any of the insurances and benefit packages provided.
Booklets. The Company agrees to provide separate Pension and Benefits booklets to all employees. The Company will review the booklets with the Atlas Unit Chairperson prior to printing and distribution. It is understood that these booklets are for information purposes only, and are not grievable, and do not form part of the collective agreement. Booklets. The above outlines the principal features included in the insurance program, but it is not to be considered the contract of insurance. The Company will provide benefit booklets as normally supplied by insurance companies. The complete terms and conditions of these protections are set forth in the policies, certificates plan of each of the insuring companies. SAFETY SHOE PROGRAM Effective June the Company’scontribution will be towards one pair of approved safety shoes per employee per year. SAFETY GLASS PROGRAM Present employees Company contribution is on initial pair of regular and safety glasses. Safety Glasses: Replacement of lens once every year, if deemed necessary. Glasses to be supplied by Company optometrist only. For complete details refer to the program literature. SPOT AND MULTI-SPOT PROTECTION Company to contribute of the cost on a maxi- mum of five aprons per year. In order for an em- ployee to get a replacement apron, he must turn in the apron he intends to replace. TOOL ALLOWANCE The Company agrees to make available through Central Stores one set of metric tools selected by the Company should they become required. The set will include metric tools which are not normally provided by the tradesman. The Company will provide protection against loss by fire only for recognized tools of trades em- ployees. The protection shall only cover those tools pro- ven to be on the Company’s premises at the time of the loss by fire and substantiated by an updated list which the employee must submit to his each and every time he brings his tools on the Company’s pre- mises. Reimbursement for such loss will be on the basis of replacement cost. The Company will provide an annual tool of fifty dollars ($50.00) commencing June for each skilled trades employee, providing such tools are required in the performance of their duties. COVERALLS, SHOP COATS AND WELDER JACKETS The Company will supply and maintain welding jackets for the welders for the term of the Collective Agreement. The Company shall purchase and give to all mem- bers of the Skilled Trades Department two pairs of coveralls or shop coats (or a combination of one (1)shop coat and one coverall) for their use, and they shall be responsible for maintaining them, during the term of this Collective Agreement. The Hospital will consider requests for reimbursement for damages incurred to the personal property such as eyeglasses, ripped uniforms, personal clothing as a result of being assaulted while performing her' work. A receipt for the item replaced will be provided to the Hospital.

Should company contributions not be allowed under other pension plans, the equivalent contribution will be paid in cash to the employee. At the end of the first two (2) years of PRL employees will be eligible for retirees benefits. In addition no further pension contributions or accrual will apply. Each situation holder choosing to take pre-retirement leave must sign a waiver to the effect he/she cannot return to full-time employment with The Windsor Star.
